ButterflyMX was introduce to us by the company who installed our security cameras. It is amazing as advertised. No bug Issue with the software what so ever, the hours of customer service is quite extended compare to other companies. It is very easy to use and it is a major add on to any security system. ButterflyMX takes away and eliminate the limitation of older call boxes. takes picture with time stamp and save for every single entry to the building. Also deliveries are more secure now as there is no excuse for drivers to dump your package and leave without leaving a notice tag. So far we have cut few bad delivery attempt and shared them with the carriers. The company offers fantastic introduction classes via zoom, the system is so advanced but easy to use, it is a no brainer choice. worth every penny you spend. I believe it is the brain child of Jordan Zolan. He gave us a fantastic comprehensive tour/30 minutes long for the set up and tips. he has been available with prompt response via email or phone. All of tech support people are nice and friendly and no question is small to answer. I have had the pleasure to talk to few of other support personnel (specially in one occasion from Croatia which was amazing and everything went smoothly). Possibilities are endless with this device. unlike other callboxes, you are not limited to local numbers or only having one number assigned to the buzzer. we don't have to pay extra for having a phone number assigned to the butterflyMX, all you need is a internet access and power to make it operate. Read moreOur coop selected ButterflyMX as a replacement for our failing wired intercom. We are less than a week into going live and the system has exceeded my expectations. We had two major concerns selecting a replacement system: support & on-boarding and would it work.
Support for setup and On-boarding. ButterflyMX assigned a Client Success Manager named Gyaltsen Phuntsog to our account. Gyaltsen was a pleasure to work with. He was knowledgeable and followed up quickly whenever I had a question.
My neighbors who used regular support were happy as well. ButterflyMX's email and phone support were responsive and easy to contact.
One lesson to share - You do have to do your homework. First, gather a good email and cell list for everyone who will use the intercom. Don't forget to ask your neighbors how they want to add their children. Second, it's essential to introduce the intercom to your building. It's different because there is no device on the wall. ButterflyMX has videos and documents to share with the building. Get those out early and repeat the message immediately before go-live. Make sure that you tell your neighbors to contact ButterflyMX support with issues - NOT the board members.
Would it work Our neighbors are using the system just fine. Some have used the extended functionality like Siri and Apple Watch.
So far so good. I think/hope that as long as our internet connection is stable, we'll be stable. We can still use our keys as backup.
