I recently visited H&K Health Beauty Spa at the Midtown location, and it was hands-down the best wellness experience I’ve ever had! I booked the package that included a head massage, facial, and massage all in one, and I left feeling completely rejuvenated.
My therapist, Irene, was incredible—so skilled and attentive. Every part of the session was perfection. The head massage was deeply relaxing, the facial left my skin glowing, and the massage melted away all my tension. As an unexpected but delightful bonus, they cleaned my ears, which was surprisingly soothing!
At the end, they even blow-dried my hair, which was such a thoughtful touch. The salon itself is lovely—clean, calming, and beautifully maintained, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.
I can’t recommend H&K Health Beauty Spa enough, especially if you’re looking to treat yourself to a truly luxurious experience. 5/5 without hesitation. Ask for Irene if you...
Read moreI would really advise this business to describe facial services in greater detail and clearly state your payment policy.
There is nowhere in your website or reviews to differentiate the different hydrafacial services (there is for the head spa which you can do the same for facials). I booked a clarifying hydrafacial and though it was a positive experience with many steps, I was quite surprised that only at most 2 minutes of extractions were done (especially for a clarifying facial) and the practitioner did not explain most steps.
They charge an additional credit card fee (can be avoided by paying with cash, they have an atm) and suggest 20-30% tip. Of course they only make this known AFTER the service. Apparently there’s also a “membership” where you pay in installments of $500 (cash) and get discounted services, but there’s no details anywhere in their website or menus and all record keeping is by...
Read moreI had a scalp treatment a couple of days ago, and while the treatment itself was a relaxing and worthwhile experience, they don’t really cater to curly-haired clients here unfortunately. My 3C hair was a dry, frizzy mess at the end of the experience and I essentially had to re-style it myself. The technician was laughing about it as I was re-styling, which was pretty uncomfortable. I also did not get a scalp analysis before starting the treatment, which I thought was part of the experience. I did get one after, but due to language barrier the technician was unable to explain any of the analysis, so I didn’t really understand some of what I was seeing on the machine used to take the photos. If you have naturally straight, fine hair, then this would be an amazing experience. The facility is extremely clean and modern as well. Just wasn’t ideal for my...
