City Parking — Local services in New York

Alert!!! Alert!! They are not open 24hrs. I booked the parking spot to attend a event at the Barclays, because It popped up when I finished paying for my ticket as if it were a packaged deal. Come to find out it was 20 min. walk from the venue on foot. It was raining so I had to take an Uber. But before I left the attendant told me to return by 11:30. So I had to leave the event early and then again take an Uber. Which took 10 minutes to go 4 blocks (traffic) so I ended up getting out and walking. Needless to say I did not get there by 11:30pm and when I arrived the 24 hr parking garage, was closed. I had to leave my car there and Uber from the BK to BX. Then Uber back to pick my car up. Parking at this location costed me an extra $200 (the Ubers). Not including the $29.00 I paid for the parking spot and I also had to cut my enjoyment short and this is only the beginning of the big deal I'm gonna make about it. I'm gonna call corporate. Because if they close at 11:30 and parking is a part of the package deal with the venue that you paid a handsom fee for a tickets to. But the show(s) ends at midnight. Then I think stub hub needs to know that they shouldn't be included in any "package...

Horrible service. We parked there for several years and it started great. There was an attendant named Roger who was wonderful. Then they changed ownership or management and it got worse and worse.

We made the decision to end our monthly parking there after several bad experiences and consistently bad service.

The attendants are rude (especially one of them), they’ll forget to get your car, and they’ll complain that they’re too busy even though you gave them plenty of time to get your car (30+ minutes).

They also block the entry in the evening so that you can’t get in until they see you sitting in the driveway.

Sometimes they’ll be sleeping in the office and you have to wake them up to get your keys.

It got so bad that I dreaded having to ask for my car because I knew they’d be rude to me and also wouldn’t even have the car ready when I needed it.

They’re also not open 24/7 as advertised.

The parking attendant was very rude and aggressive. He locked myself and a few other passenger’s in the garage because our parking passes wouldn’t load due to our phones having a low battery. It’s advertised that the lot is open until midnight but the assistant tells everyone to be at the garage by 11. I got there a few minutes after 12 and the attendant acted very mean and aggressive. The lot is 25 mins walking distance from Barclays when you pay for a parking pass on Ticketmaster the site for this garage pops up. If they want early hours they should not be in business with Ticketmaster because people will be leaving concerts late.I honestly felt like alerting the police when I left.
