UPDATE!: 9/13

They don't seem to listen entirely on what you order from them. They'll send you the wrong order and charge you for it.

About a month ago in August of 2025, I placed an order of a breakfast sandwich and I noticed that they put home fries IN your sandwich, instead of on the side like they normally would. I am not sure why they would do that, because the results were me thinking they forgot my item that I requested a refund from them, through Grubhub. Once I realized they put the home fries in the sandwich when I opened it, I tried to find a solution to give the money back to the merchant, but I was told by customer service that they couldn't reverse the transaction.

Why would you put the home fries in the sandwich and not on the side??

That's like putting French fries inside your burger and not on the side.

These people were slick to try to charge me an item I didn't order from them, to get the money back that I ask for a refund when I didn't notice they place the home fries in the sandwich. I believe it had to due with the home fries order.

Frankly, I won't be ordering from them again due to this shady behavior of what just happened today. Maybe in the future, but not for a while.

The food is very good overall. However, it has become an overpriced bagel shop at this location.

Service is just ok here. I think it is some of the workers are great, but not all of them.

I will be going to Bergen bagels from now on.

I don't normally write reviews but today, the customer service was mediocre. I made the mistake but ordering the "lox spectacular" instead of the "lox ruby red spectacular" by mistake. when I notice this, I called the store back and told them that I ordered the lox spectacular and wanted to know if I can bring it back. I never yelled or caught an attitude with them or anything, I knew it was my fault. so when I showed up, the black girl who I normally see when she takes people's orders, was pretty stingy and had a childish attitude behavior about it. All I ask for the correct order and I never accused them of anything knowing it was my fault, but her attitude was a bit off.

Customer service should be 100% on point. So when the girl hands me my order, she said a smart remark saying "next time say lox ruby red spectacular not lox spectacular" with a smirk on her face, as if I don't know what the difference is.

Let me remind you I always order the lox ruby red bagel, and I normally see the same girl. But the way she handle the situation today was rude. she even went to go on and laugh with her coworkers in the back as if I can't hear see what they are saying.

I am a regular customer to this bagel shop. I have been going here for 2 years now, I will think twice about coming here ever again if customer service is...

This bagel shop is hands down one of the best food discoveries I’ve made in a long time. From the moment you walk in, there’s an energy that makes you feel both welcomed and excited. The warm aroma of freshly baked bagels fills the air, and the space itself feels cozy and inviting, with bright lights that give it a cheerful, welcoming glow. It’s the kind of place that instantly makes you feel at home, whether you’re grabbing something to go or settling in for a quiet bite.

What sets this shop apart is the craftsmanship. The bagels have that elusive balance that only true bagel masters can achieve: a beautiful glossy crust that crackles ever so slightly when you bite in, and a soft, chewy interior that’s both hearty and satisfying. You can tell immediately these are made with care and pride.

The variety is outstanding — they’ve mastered the classics like sesame, everything, and plain, but also offer creative options that make you want to come back and try them all. And while every bagel here is worth ordering, I have to rave about my personal favorite: the pastrami lox with scallion cream cheese. It’s an absolute game-changer. The lox itself is smoky, rich, and layered with incredible pastrami spices that elevate it far beyond the traditional. Paired with the cool, tangy scallion cream cheese, it’s the perfect marriage of flavors — indulgent yet balanced, and unforgettable.

I even placed a catering order recently, and it was a huge hit. Everything was beautifully packaged, fresh, and delivered with the same care you get in-store. My guests couldn’t stop talking about the quality of the bagels and spreads — it made the entire event feel extra special.

Beyond the food, the staff make the experience even better. They’re genuinely friendly, attentive, and passionate about what they serve. They’ll chat with you about their favorite combos, make great recommendations, and always make you feel like a valued guest — whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth.

In a city full of bagels, this place stands out as something truly exceptional. Between the cozy, light-filled atmosphere, the unforgettable flavors, and the welcoming team, it’s the kind of spot that reminds you why a great bagel is more than just breakfast — it’s comfort, community, and craft all rolled into one. I’ve already started recommending it to friends, and I’ll be back again (and again) for that pastrami lox with scallion...

I've recently started to use UberEATS for ordering my work lunch. In my area there aren't many real decent fairly healthy food options. I came across Myrtle Bagel today on the app, and after checking out their reviews on google, decided to give them a try. I have to say that I am very impressed. The menu in the app didn't make all alternate order options for my dish available, so when I called them to ask how I would be able to order the dish the way I wanted, they had no problem explaining to me how I should do it. I wanted to substitute various things and add an egg to my dish and they didn't tell me they couldn't do it because there was no way of charging me for it, rather they simply said to add that to the additional details section on the order. The food arrived at the time it was estimated and the food was delicious, and still warm. Thank you guys for a...

Adorable place, the pigeon mural brought me in and I’m so happy I came in to see what was going on. I’m guilty of following the long line since that’s how you find the best things in NY. It didn’t disappoint, I enjoyed my version of BEC- Turkey bacon, egg white and cheese on a scooped out bagel. No one bat an eyelash with my specific request as I enter the journey of trying to get a little “healthier” after eating all that NY has to offer for decades. I could gate keep but the people were so nice in there everyone needs to feel this sense of community I felt which is slowly a dying feeling. The food was the added bonus!

I ordered a bagel and I’m not even sure what i got. It’s more like a football shaped roll. Listen, the signature O shape of a bagel is important, especially for toasting because it distributed heat on the inside more easily. I asked for extra toasted yet the inside is still soft and feels undercooked? The outside is burnt…which i come to expect sometimes when I order my bagels extra toasted. Eeeek! I will stick to Bagel World on Willoughby
