BEWARE: This stores advertises on Uber Eats, Grubhub etc as “Beer Soda Water” and regularly lists out-of-stock items as "available" on Uber Eats, then tries to force substitutions on customers at delivery.
Let me expose a predatory practice this store is running through Uber Eats: They consistently show items as in stock when they're not, take your money, then attempt to deliver substitute items you never agreed to. When you refuse the substitution, you're stuck in a nightmare loop with Uber saying "talk to the store."
Here's their scheme: List unavailable items as "in stock" on Uber Eats Accept your order and payment Pick a substitute item of THEIR choosing Send it to your door, knowing you'll likely feel pressured to accept If you complain, they claim "you can just reject it" - knowing full well Uber Eats won't help with refunds
This isn't a simple inventory management issue - it's a calculated business practice. The store knows exactly what they're doing: forcing customers into accepting substitutions they never ordered or fighting a losing battle for refunds.
I ordered explicitly marked “refund” if an item is unavailable. They called and said items aren’t available and said they have other alternatives, I declined and said issue refund don’t substitute. What do they do? Marked them as available anyway on the app and when I complained to UberEats they claimed I called and asked them to cancel.
To fellow customers: Screenshot your orders Document any "no substitution" requests Be prepared to fight for your refund Consider ordering directly from other stores that respect their customers
To the shady owners: I've filed complaints with appropriate consumer protection agencies. This kind of deceptive practice...

The saddest part is that some of the cashiers are the owners. Many times I was clearly waiting to pay and instead of the cashier attending me right away. He continues to do whatever he was doing in the PC until I told him "umm I'm ready to pay". They don't automatically give you plastic bags like every other store does. You have to request it even when it's obvious one is needed. Also, they lack communication between employees. The prices are not set. One day I'm paying $3.75 for a wrap and the next day I'm paying $6 for the same wrap. It's just ridiculous and annoying. I always find myself going back, but its really thanks to Daniel and the great food he makes plus it's right up the block from my job. The minute daniel leaves i wont...
Read moreI’ve never left a negative review, let alone for something I consider a small business, but please do NOT shop here, or at least ask for receipts. My roommate and I live across the street and would regularly stop by here for items, and noticed our transactions would be WAYYYY higher than the items we remember buying - we were always using tap to pay so wouldn’t take a look at the card screen. Today I bought the same Liquid Death drink I come here multiple times a week to buy - guy scanned me for 2.49 and I noticed 10 minutes later that my Apple Pay history showed 7.77. I scrolled through and I have never ever had a transaction here that was less than 3.68 - even though I come here multiple times a week for that same single drink. I got my 5$ difference for this transaction but will never come back as they’ve likely scammed me out of a significant sum by now....
