Note: the optometrist lady I highly recommend. She's superb and very caring about your eyes! So, this review only goes for the vision center. Anyway, I didn't want to give this rating, but I have to as its well deserved. Basically, the cashier person (a male who worked in the glasses section behind the counter) either had an attitude problem and treated me as though I were a sheepish imbecile, or was tired/unhappy and directed it at me. The experience went like this: I asked if I could have my semi-rimless frames' glass pieces adjusted in "width" (vertically) as the lace could be cut/adjusted. The man responded with "No, you have to use the size that came with it." I then asked, "But if it's rimless, you can adj--" He cut me off: "I just told you, nothing will fit but the size that it came with." I attempted again: "Let me explain: they're semi-rimless, so if its cut--" Again, interrupted: "We can't and don't do that." Okay, Mr. "I know more about glasses than you." Thanks to his responses, I called up another place and they told me that they'd happily cut it to any size that the frame's lace adjusts to provided that they are rimless. Went there to get it done without problems. Watch out for this person who works here who, in my opinion, is incompetent and doesn't understand the difference between semi-rimless (adjustable) and (non-adjustable, non-laced)...

Masks are STILL required, even in Mar. 2023, even after the state healthcare mandate was lifted, even after the latest Cochrane review on masking reaffirmed the prior Cochrane review on masking which reaffirmed nearly 80 years of evidence about the inefficacy of mask mandates (which reaffirms the disclaimer on each box of masks).
"This is the policy and those who don't like it can take their business elsewhere," are the words of the practice, not my own.
I'm bummed that evidence-based medicine and clinical ethics have seemingly given way to ritual and...
Read moreThe man behind the counter was unfriendly and indifferent about helping us. I wanted to purchase a frame and during the pandemic, there was a sign that said if you try on a pair, please place it in a separate container so they can sanitize it. I went over to take a look at the frame and then man behind the counter immediately said, “You can’t try them on.” So I said, “Well how will I know which ones I like?” He proceeded to say, “You can’t try them on. Sorry.” I went to another location to purchase the frames because of...
