I walked-in to David’s Barbershop on a Friday afternoon while visiting from out of town and received an exceptional haircut from Rafael in chair 1. He took extra care to ensure I got exactly what I wanted. From the moment I sat in his chair, it was evident that he was an experienced barber (20 years of experience, to be exact) and that he is dedicated to his craft.

I get an undercut with a 0 on the sides and the top left long, the side of my natural part is disconnected, while I typically get the opposite side faded. The 0 was a true 0 down to the skin, the lines along my forehead and neck were straight and clean, and the fade on the side opposite to my natural fade turned out exceptionally.

Best of all, I greatly enjoyed my conversation with Rafael and was very impressed to learn that he speaks 5 languages! Haircuts at David’s are $30 cash, which in my experience is very competitive in most major cities. There is an ATM located inside of the shop for customers convenience. I've lived across the street for over 5 years and have had my hair cut consistently here. There's rarely a wait (& never more than for the one person in the chair) and I love the small business family community feel of the shop. They'll engage you in conversation if you want or let you watch the sports on TV (I love soccer). The cuts are always efficient and I'm quite pleased with the result, hence going to them month in and out for over six years for 'the regular'. Michael (brother of David) is my usual barber and he always takes good care of me, often going above and beyond with a hot towel shave (do it!). This is probably the last great value in the area and I always feel as if I've gotten more than my money's worth walking out the door, so much so that I can go back frequently without going over budget. I’ve been a customer of Davids since the business started at this location. I don’t know how many years that's been. They have been the only barbers to cut my hair over that time. I will admit up front that I don’t like getting my hair cut. This place is a no BS barber. If you want a hip salon hair experience- this ain't your place. Fast service.
