Congress Bar — Restaurant in New York

I hate to do this but hopefully it will bring some awareness to management — this is one my regular spots but I’m honestly shocked at how they continue to let the bartender Jessie interact with customers. My friends who also live nearby have commented on the same bartender and her poor attitude

Yesterday evening was the second time I’ve encountered her where she’s just straight up rude and uncomfortable. I legitimately waited to see if another bartender was working at fear she would spit in my drink or something. I ultimately ended up leaving and going to June across the street

Just walked out without having my drink. The bartender charged me 20 dollars for a martini ...and even though she didn’t inform me about what that extra charge was or why a drink would be 20 dollars and insisted that I wasn’t charged when my account has a 20 dollar charge. Left really confused and frustrated wasn’t even offered or given anything Indicating that I’ll be refunded. She didn’t even show me the hand held tablet and said “have a good day” ?? What ..I manage two restaurants in the area and I wanted to do some work and unwind in the back and there were flies. I’m just so confused about...

Amazing neighborhood craft cocktail bar! We were passing through town and always try to find great cocktail places to try in our travels. I’m so glad we stopped into Congress Bar!! Their cocktails are on point, well made, and interesting. Happy hour was a great way to try a few different drinks ($2 off drinks, check out their website for days/times).
