Place specializing in donburi, a Japanese rice bowl dish with meat/veggies served over rice.

Did this place take out and ordered the beef and chicken teriyaki mix and their fries (I know I know, ordering french fries at a Japanese restaurant, but I had a craving).

You can see them grilling the meats to order so if you go there in person, even for take out, you can get that wonderful grilled meat smell.

The rice bowl was really good. One of the best i've had for gyudon (beef don). Bowls have enoki mushrooms and some shredded cabbage. The chicken teriyaki was also good. Tender, flavorful but the real star here is the beef. Juicy, a little fatty, really a must try. The rice bowls also come with a beautiful poached egg ("hot spring egg" - recommend to mix it into your rice bowl).

But also, the french fries! This is one of the few places i've ever done take out fries and they were still crispy when I got them home. They're also seasoned with some parsley and sesame seeds. This place has no right to have fries this good and better than any...

Came to check out the new eatery inside the Golden Mall. They specialize is Japanese rice bowls, aka Donburi . They have 7 options to choose from. They don't have a lot of options but there's something for everyone, unless you're vegetarian... . The meats are grilled to order, aside from the chicken, which is already grilling, since chicken does take the longest to cook. . The pork and beef are thin slices so they cook really fast. I'm not 100% sure about the eel but they are packaged and it appears to be hated in the microwave. . Each order comes with an onsen egg , mushrooms, sliced lettuce and a can of soda, which isn't bad at all... . You can really taste to smokiness of the grilled meats. It was good. For the main course, I indulged in the Teriyaki Chicken and Thinly Sliced Pork Belly Donburi for $15.99 and the Grilled Eel Donburi for $22.99.
