We got the original fried chicken, with four dipping sauces (signature sweet & spicy sauce, honey garlic, honey glazed soy, and barbecue). Our favorite was the signature sweet & spicy sauce (level 2) - it wasn’t spicy imo but had the perfect balance of flavors, just like the ones in Korea. The chicken itself was juicy & crispy. Their french fries with truffle oil were fried to perfection and had a strong truffle flavor. We also tried the kimchi pancake, which was made with their homemade kimchi. It was savory, crispy, and chewy. Their kimchi stew was another highlight, complementing the chicken perfectly. As Koreans say, good kimchi = good restaurant. For drinks, we tried the strawberry soju cocktail (made with homemade strawberry puree, no artificial stuff) and their house milk tea. The cocktail was strong yet refreshing, with just the right sweetness. The milk tea was a pleasant surprise - thick, concentrated, and packed with assam tea flavor. The owner has clearly spent hours perfecting the recipe. Don’t waste your money on weak milk teas in NYC - just come here!

I have never had Korean Fried chicken before but I was pleasantly surprised. My friend and I had the original whole chicken, french fries, and Mac and cheese. Everything was delicious! I recommend the garlic and bbq sauces for the chicken. Whatever sauce came with the fries was heaven. I can't give the place 5 stars because the food took a bit of time to come out (went around 3pm when there were only 2 other tables) and this place was a bit strange with what they charged you for. I honestly don't pay attention to menu prices so when I got the check, I was surprised that one of the sauces that the waitress heavily suggested to us was $4 for a small thing that was maybe 3-4 tablespoons. I also ordered sparkling water and they only had teeny tiny Perrier and Pellegrino bottles (have never seen sparkling water bottles that small, they looked hotel sized) and they were $3 each. Either way, it was not a huge deal breaker, the food was sooo good. Will go back again.

Interesting spot in a small chain. Overall the food was pretty good. The friend cheese dough balls were more like dessert - thing buttercream filled donut holes, but mostly warm buttercream. Wings and chicken were good, flavorful and tasty eats. But the fries with melted cheese, despite asking about it, is actually just generic cheese sauce, and NOT acrual melted cheese...which gets to my criticism: Service was poor. Our server clearly was either misinformed or just not paying attention/caring about his job and the kitchen wasn't on the same page either. The food came out randomly. Two dinners, but they came in 3 separate 'deliveries' spaced 5-10m apart. I got my fries, 5m later, my dinner, my partner got their dinner 10m after that. It made for an unpleasant eating experience even with otherwise ok food. Would not return, do not recommend.

came for a dinner with my girl on Thursday night. pretty good lightings amazing atmosphere nice decoration cool music brand new grand opening pelicana korean chicken in the area. cashier area and the dining area was very likely organized and modernized. bathroom was so clean and has nice lightings dining area playing sports with big tvs, has variety selection or types of beers. they have the brooklyn blast on tap that men love and not that much places have. servers welcome us, nicely hospitalized and very friendly staffs. they were very nice and polite and kept on checking us. my girl was so satisfied with the service. toaltally in love with this place. so our server recommended us combo 2 which comes with bunch of starters, salads and boneless whole chicken with a choice of 1 sauce. their crispy boneless was awesome. was so crunchy and juicy and wasn't even greasy at all. so I got a glass of Brooklyn blast and my girl got frozen soju with strawberry in a mason glass and she loved it. it came with a fancy red glowing light trust me girls would love it. and one of our servers gave us honey garlic sauce on the house to try it was truly amazing he said it is one of the most popular sauce there. server explained us all of different kind of sauces and sides that comes with the combo and how the chicken stuffed getting fried. combo2s price was really reasonable and worth it and surely it was enough for 3 people actually. perfect dining place in the area. amazing service and delicious food. perfectly satisfied. I highly recommend this new place for a couple or a fam lookin for the...
