This majority of this review reflects the experience we've had after returning a mattress we purchased.
We bought a Leesa Legend Chill Hybrid in late February ā Chauncey was our salesperson and was fantastic, so knowledgeable and personable. We loved the mattress, until we realized that the pillow top was ripping due to what we assume was a manufacturer defect. After some back and forth, we decided to return the mattress rather than do an exchange. It took a little bit of back and forth to get pickup scheduled (apparently only one person is able to approve returns for all Sleep Loft locations), and we had to wait for our 30 day required trial period to end, but once it was scheduled it went smoothly.
A refund for most of the purchase was processed a few days later, except for a $150 refundable deposit we had put down before buying the mattress. After emailing 5-6 times over the course of 3 weeks, I was emailed by an email address associated with the Downtown Brooklyn location stating that the refund was being processed. It's now a week later, and we still haven't received anything.
It's a shame that we had a very positive experience before all of this, even though we returned the mattress. I hate leaving bad reviews like this, but it shouldn't take almost a month to...

Turns out, the person on the phone I spoke to did not take the hold off the bed to send the order to the fulfillment center so the bed never arrived. Now we will be waiting another 7-10 days just for it to ship to the fulfillment center in NJ. The staff were not empathetic to our situation at all when we called to sort it out.
