Rude employee on the grill!! 😠😠

Its 10 AM on a sunday, I am the only customer in the store. I walk up to the grill counter to place a breakfast order. As I am speaking, the spanish male employee looks at me, and turns his back on me without saying a word.

I notice he is wearing black earbuds in both ears. Candidly I assume he may not be able to hear me, so I ask the lady at the counter if he could hear me with the earbuds in his ears?

He immediately responds by saying with a nasty tone, “I am not a machine, you need to wait because I am busy”!

Since when is that an acceptable way to speak to a PAYING CUSTOMER?? How about trying, good morning! I will be with you in a moment sir.

Maybe because I am a young black male he felt I did not deserve any respect!
