Madman Espresso — Restaurant in New York

I see the owner has reached out to me but there is no way to reply. Here is what happened, I bought a medium latte, $5.25 and I added almond milk and that is $.75 which totals $6.00 with tax it should be $6.53. He rang it to $7.94. I said that is wrong, I explained the math. And he says well things are expensive now. I said, yes but the math is wrong. He said "it is what it is." I said, but it's wrong can you take me through the math. He said, "where are you from?" as though I am from Canada or something. I have been in the city for 30 years. He said, can I help who is next.
