I would give this place a worse rating if I could only because of the way I was treated by the short haired cashier working on 12/23/24 around 2:30p, who I'm almost certain was the manager/owner as well because I recall her nasty attitude a year or so ago then too. I was at the front ready to check out and she let me know I could put the basket on the counter. I was actually just taking out 2 items I didn't want but she continued to SLAM the counter not once but twice like I was her misbehaved child, urging me to move quicker and place the basket as if I didn't hear her the first time and I was wasting her precious time. mind you, her store was packed to the brim and the Christmas spirit was in the air but never have I been treated like that from a cashier or a human being for that matter. I would say she was having a bad day but 1.) I remember her attitude years ago and 2.) from the way I saw her treating her fellow coworkers who were shaking in their boots at her tone with them, I could just tell this is simply someone who needs to learn what anger management is and how to properly treat CUSTOMERS in their store when they're spending an arm and a leg ($121 to be exact) on 5 items the size of my palm. thats including the $9.83 discount off but with tax that was $9.89..what a deal! NEVER returning to this place again. if she doesn't get therapy I think I will after her triggering...

I’m new to Brooklyn & needed to buy a greeting card. I prefer shopping at small businesses. The lady at the counter and the guy working today were both very nice. I got a really cute cat thank you card & was very surprised & happy to find a jellycat bashful cow that is no longer sold on the website. Truly made my day. Fun selection of toys and gifts, very kind and helpful staff. I went in to get a gift and one of the staff members asked if I needed any help. After telling her what i had in mind, she offered multiple suggestions ranging in price and had an amazing attitude. Also mind you this was 20 min before closing.
