I stuck my head in here and held my breath until I saw they have the gelato covered in stainless steel containers and served with a stainless steel spade. PHEW! CRISIS AVERTED! The covered metal container keeps the gelato at the correct temperature for an optimal consumption experience. I learned this critical, life changing information on my trip to Italy. Oh yeah I've been to Italy... I'm well traveled, haha :) The line was long, but the 3 ladies working in here were GRINDING to keep it moving. I can't help but respect that, that's good business. They have different flavors everyday, which can be a minor inconvenience but it does show that this gelato is fresh so I respect that and welcome aforementioned minor inconvenience. I went with a scoop of melon and a scoop of limone, as I was in a fruity mood hehe. One of those days. Both flavors were fantastic and the scoops came with a little cone on top of the gelato creating a kind of hat. I ended up using this little cone to scoop the gelato, as I am a veteran of this game.
THANK YOU GELATERIA GENTILE AND PLEASE NEVER SWITCH UP!

It’s one of those rare spots where every visit feels like a quick escape to Italy. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed by a clean, minimalist space that lets the gelato do all the talking—and trust me, it speaks volumes.
The flavors are rich, authentic, and clearly crafted with care. My personal go-to? A scoop of coffee gelato stacked on top of dark chocolate, all on a mini kids sugar cone—don’t judge me! It’s the perfect little indulgence, and somehow never too much.
Whether I'm touring clients through nearby condos or listing a property in the area, I always mention Gelateria Gentile. It’s more than just a dessert spot—it’s a sign of a vibrant, evolving neighborhood. You can tell they use real ingredients and time-honored techniques, and that kind of quality adds flavor—literally and figuratively—to...
Read moreExcellent gelato but I'm never coming back. The attendant was super rude and disrespectful.
First, the gelato flavors are in Italian. There is no translation to English. This gelato shop is in the US, not in Italy. I asked the attendant to please translate all the flavors for me. He did it in lightning speed and I had to stop him a few times to ask to repeat or ask for a sample. He had zero patience.
Finally I asked for a kid size and he denied it. I'm an adult and usually prefer smaller portions. I have never been denied a kid size portion before but here apparently they are very strict about this.
Next time, I'll have gelato in Italy. There the gelato will be better (and cheaper) and I'll practice my Italian and I will be treated...
