Fjällräven Meatpacking NYC — Local services in New York

As a long time fan of this brand I had traditionally purchased online. Once more stores came to NYC I would swing through now and then to see what was new and immerse myself in the brand. With the camping season upon us I picked up a pair of convertible pants which needed to be hemmed. What a wonderful experience!

I had thought alterations would take weeks and that perhaps I should consider a local tailor when in fact the team at this location was wonderful and turned around the pants with lightning speed.

I cannot speak highly about the staff and in particular the tailor they have ensconced at this location. I don’t know anyones name but I am now remembered when I walk in and feel like part...

I've been to all three Fjallraven stores in Manhattan. They're all great & the service is outstanding! However, the Meatpacking store is just amazing & has a great selection. Anthony is the most knowledgeable guy! He takes the time to explain everything. I recently purchased a Kanken Tote in Del Mar, CA store. I flew home & just couldn't love the color (I travel a lot and wanted something a tad darker). Not a problem- Anthony surprised me with the red I had my heart set on, knew the Del Mar store well and had me happily on my way after he also found me a beautiful mini in my dream colors. The worst customer service ever! The store only had 4 customers if that! And the associate was more concerned about getting ready to close 40 mins before closing time. He didn’t care about anything I had to say. If I asked a question he would come off very rude & condescended! I went in to buy a backpack & a belt bag. but left with cheap looking keychain. Everything I asked for he would say they were out of stock. Didn’t know when they would get more. Didn’t even offer to call back when items would get in. Save your time and order online. This store is nothing but a joke. Out of stock on all...
