This station hits differently from every subway station I've been in and idk why. Maybe it's just the B/D trains. I've always found those 2 lines extremely wack, and having a station in this specific location of the city where those 2 are the only trains that serve it just brings out this weird feeling in me.
Or maybe it’s the Manhattan Bridge. As a sheltered Queens kid who hasn’t had many chances to take a train across this thing, I’ve always been a bit skeptical of what happens in there.
