JBL Store SoHo — Local services in New York

During my recent visit to the JBL store on East Houston Street, I immediately noticed how disengaged most of the staff appeared except for one standout: Justin Marino, the Assistant Store Manager. While several employees were present, Justin was the only one who greeted me warmly and offered genuine assistance. His professionalism, attentiveness, and product knowledge elevated my entire shopping experience. Justin went above and beyond to ensure I found the perfect speaker; the JBL Mini; and took the time to explain its features with clarity and enthusiasm. It’s rare to encounter someone who takes such pride in customer service, and it truly made a difference. Because of Justin, my visit turned into a memorable experience, and I’ll absolutely be returning to purchase more. Thank you, Justin, for your kindness, patience, and expertise. I finally found the store, poorly visible. Their neon sign can be seen easier from a block away if you look into the window of adjacent building. Very confusing. Inside i asked about speaker repair. Ive bought two JBL extreme 2 speakers when t-mibile had the promo. Anyway spent over $700 dollars on both. A waste... the speakers just give out after a little more than 2yrs. Both speakers are dead. I went to the store to ask what to do? The clerk very crassly tossed me a card and coldly cut me off. Dont buy this garbage speaker. You will get no help when they die out. Its not a radio your buying at all. Its a subscription to hear music for two years. After that they want you just dump your radio and pick up the lastest at this store with no sign, nor helpful staff. Just forget the $700 ripoff and pony up for the Extreme 3 now. Wheeeee! Not a chance in hell. Please stay away unless this offer...
