What people don’t realize about wedding photographers is that they’re not just there to take random pretty pictures & go home. They create art within the blink of an eye! They make sure the area is staged perfectly, they’ll let you know if something is off with your dress, or jacket, fix you posture, and even notices if a pin is loose in your hair. They’ll be there to calm you down if you get a bit stressed. They’ll make sure you get all the pictures you requested and then some. They’ll even jump into an empty pool just to get the shot! (Yup that happened). They are like ghost at your wedding ceremony, and guest with cameras at your wedding reception! They blend right in! And Even when a carribean parent is fed up & tired of taking pictures, they still figure out a way to keep things cool & get the Shot!

We cannot forget to mention your administration skills are on point! Super organized! We worked with a lot of vendors for our wedding! Not all of them know how to answer emails, have a simple web based form, or send out payment reminders! Which is very crucial during the wedding planning process & in this digital era!

I first discovered Matt/ Joshua Dwain Photography through my client. I did her makeup for her engagement photos. She was so excited about the pictures she sent me a few. I must admit I was blown away by the pictures. They were so vibrant, filled with love and the clarity was remarkable. I felt like I could touch her face through the picture. I immediately asked her for Matt’s information. At the time I was engaged and I was scheduled to do my formal engagement photo shoot a few days after seeing those pictures. Prior to the wedding, we wanted to get to know our photographers and decided to have our engagement with them as well. By the end of the session, we loved Joshua and Anye so much that we took them out for dinner. (Our engagement photos came out gorgeous)!
