LITTLE CREATURES — Local services in New York

This is a great little store, the only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because, depending on the employee, it is a great experience or a horrible one. There’s one girl who’s always EXTREMELY friendly and super helpful( unfortunately, I don’t know their names), but there’s another one who always seems REALLY bothered when asked any question and never helps at all. Last time I went, a few weeks ago, I asked if by any chance she knew if the cat litter I was holding was the one that was great at hiding the smell, I kind of just needed reassurance as I was changing litters, and she replied (very annoyed ) that “they’re all the same”. No! They’re not. And it would be good for an pet store employee to know that. I keep going there because I do like to support small businesses and I don’t think the owner should suffer because of something he/she might not...

Every time I’ve frequented this establishment it has been a horrendous experience. First they are never stocked up and always want to send you elsewhere. For which I say I want to shop local and not have to pay metro and go out of my way. Obviously I know I can guarantee getting the item if I took the metro. Secondly the girl who is in the store has a crappy attitude to begin with I don’t even think she is an animal person. She is also rude and chooses to chat while customers are waiting to either ask a question or pay and leave. I try to support local mom and pops but putting up with this experience time and time again is a NO. I will buy at Amazon or Chewy and avoid this nightmare experience altogether. I do not recommend this...

I make a point to support local businesses, especially small pet stores, but after today, I won’t be coming back here. I went in looking for a treat for my dog — freeze-dried liver — and the woman working couldn’t have been less interested in helping me.

When I asked if they had dried liver treats (forgetting to say "freeze-dried"), she made a huge, unnecessary show of acting confused and unwilling to assist. The moment I clarified and said "freeze-dried," she snarkily responded with "Oooh, well now I can finally help you." Completely unprofessional and rude.

I've shopped here plenty of times before without issue, but this kind of attitude toward customers is unacceptable. You’ve officially lost...
