Uptown Poké — Restaurant in New York

Great poke place! Prices are reasonable, and their Signature Bowls are great! We had the Regular Salmon Sunrise and the Regular Uptown bowls- they were both very filling. There was ample protein, and they were overall well made. I was pleasantly surprised with how many toppings we received! We've had experiences in the past with poke places that fill the bowl nearly 90% with rice, but we had a great rice:toppings:protein ratio.

I also have to give props for the folks at the store that wrote our name on the bad, and decorated it! Very cute.

However, I had to take a star off for the bubble tea. We tried the Taro and Hawaiian (Pineapple) boba without tapioca, and did not like them at all. They arrived a warm, and they also seemed a bit thin and had an off taste. None of the 4 people that tried either drink liked either one. We ended up going to another boba place nearby just to get the tastes out of our mouth.

So come for the poke, but be wary...

When this place opened it had huge healthy salads. Their bowls were deep and the price was decent. Now the bowls are becoming shallower and the price seems to rise. A reflection on every restaurant on the UWS. Always start out great and now decent. Ordered online for a pickup. I came in, and was not asked about my order just told to wait. A group comes in, orders and their food was made, packaged, and handed to them. Not sure why I had to wait. Finally food comes out. I take it home and it was an over sauced mess. I usually get a nice healthy sushi bowl but this looked like a blend dripping out of a mcdonald's burger. Not sure what is going on , but their standards seem to be lowering. I would appreciate the portions, price , and effort made on the original poke bowls when this restaurant opened as oppose to cherry picking customer queue, smaller portions, higher prices, and less...

Poke and Bubble Tea.

I recently stumbled upon Uptown Poke while walking around trying to decide what to eat on today. I hadn't had poke in years, I decided o give it a try.

I ordered the Uptown Poke special and was blown away by how delicious it was. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the fresh ingredients made each bite a treat for my taste buds. To top it off, I also ordered their mango bubble tea, which was equally delightful.

They deliver as well which is a plus. I am so glad that I stopped by Uptown Poke because not only did it satisfy my hunger, but it also left a lasting impression on me. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves poke or is looking for a new dining experience. Overall, Uptown Poke exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely be ordering from them again...
