If I could give zero stars I would! Today October 22nd, 5.30 pm I went to Loro Piana store in Meatpacking to have my sunglasses fixed. I walked in and asked the SA man who was playing with scarves if he could help me to fix the sunglasses. Immediately he said no, and that Loro Piana doesn't offer this service. The sunglasses are $1000 dollars and needed to be adjusted, and he told me with arrogance in his voice that I can go to any optician and have it fixed. I tried to explain to him that Loro Piana sells the sunglasses and the brand should take car of it, just like it would take care ( lets hope haha ) of a bag if broke, or zipper etc Their clothing, bags and accessories are meant to be exceptional so they should stand behind customer service and offer help, and not send me to another retailer to have their item fixed. Then he told me that he owns much more expensive sunglasses and he has them fixed just anywhere! At this point I said thank you, and left. He needs to be fired for sure! And I went to Barton Perriera and they fixed my sunglasses. Next time I will just buy a new...
Read moreThe store is beautiful and I used to be a fan of this brand. I have two pairs of the mens open walk boots and alternate them. The soles on one pair began to wear out and eventually it created a hole. Loro piana has a two year guarantee on these pricey shoes so I was not worried about them standing behind the product. I was extremely disappointed. They said their warranty does not cover wear and tear. So what does it cover ? They refused the repair or replace.
