Their Williamsburg location is nicely decorated with plants and floor-to-ceiling windows. No doubt this is my preferred location. Their staff were very sweet and passionately recommended me different pastries.

*Dirty Chai, Chai Latte Hidden Grounds is known for the variety of chai menu. I’ve tried Iced Dirty Chai at their Jersey City location and I really loved it. The top of the chai was so foamy. The drinks were both lightly sweetened with a hint of spices. In terms of sweet levels, chai latte is sweeter than dirty chai.

*Tiramisu Donut, Blueberry Donut I don’t eat donuts but these ones surprised me. It was like a donut-shaped muffin. They were not too sweet, and you could tell there wasn’t any artificial flavoring.

Here are the two staff favorite flavors: the blueberry one was served warm with blueberries studded inside.

While my mom loved the blueberry donut, I preferred the tiramisu one. To me, it was more like a chai tiramisu donut as I could taste a kick of spices.

*Salmon Everything Bagel Sandwich They offer plain/everything bagel and plain/scallion cream cheese. The bagel was warm and fluffy. The everything seasoning wasn’t very fragrant but complemented well with salmon and plain cream chese. A solid savory choice.

*Vegan Tahini Choc Chip Cookie Vegan and gluten free. It was chewy and not too sweet. The seasalt on top complexified the flavor notes of chocolate chips.

*Monkey Bread My first time having a monkey bread. After heating it up, the top edges were nicely crisped. It tasted like a mix of cinnamon roll and...

A small chain from NJ looking to expand its reach in the city! This is an Indian owned place where you can find typical Indian drinks like chai (milk tea), cutting chai which is unusual here but a good way to introduce it to the local people! I would suggest the owner to serve the cutting chai in the right way using the right kind of glass rather than serving in a mug.

I had ordered drip coffee with oat milk and apple cider donut. The coffee though was served cold, I'm unsure if I should have said I wanted it hot but it's fine.. the taste felt good and luckily the weather wasn't cold outside hence it didn't matter. The donut had a flavor of apple cider, it was different from the usual ones I have had and I found it real interesting!

Service over here is good and staff is friendly whereas the ambiance is great. One can bring in their work laptop and easily work here for hours while I heard that they do provide WiFi access!

Overall a great coffee shop to visit but keep an eye on the shop as you might zoom past it...

Fives across-the-board for this very cute and kitchy coffee shop. They have more than three options for Chai, which I love because why wouldn’t you? I had a stove top chai and it was incredible although it was very hot. It was very good. My fiancé enjoyed the latte. It was rich and creamy he said he thoroughly enjoyed it which is a lot coming from him. Definitely gonna be back and if not for the coffee definitely for the customer service it was pretty chill and laid-back and they were very helpful with suggestions on what to get. And probably would stood out the most was that it felt like I was going to a friends house for coffee because of the personal touches within the coffee shop like some of the pictures and your water cup being glass and just a very homey vibe with a bit of cultural flair. Enjoyed the umbrellas on the ceiling so check those out...
