5 stars is simply not enough. Max Nass is the most trustworthy, efficient and fair jewelers in NYC. I first went to them with two rings that I essentially wanted to combine into one. I wanted to add a diamond setting to my engagement ring. I was super nervous to drop my rings off anywhere because you just never know. They immediately made me feel welcome and helped me to identify the best way to go about re-setting the rings. I was expecting this to take months and based on estimates I had been given in the diamond district, I was expecting to pay close to $1,000. I was absolutely blown away when I was called not even 1 full week after dropping off my rings to tell me they were ready for pick up. Once I saw the ring, I immediately started tearing up. It is such a special piece and now has the diamonds of my grandmother on either side of my engagement diamond. I would have paid any amount of money- but they are so incredibly fair and I paid under $200. This will be my forever jeweler and I will recommend them to my friends and family until I turn blue. They are so professional and knowledgeable but also so incredibly personal. You feel like you are amongst family and you can trust that they will treat your jewelry as if it were their own. Thank you to the amazing team at Max Nass!!

I first discovered this wonderful shop in 2010 on a trip to NYC - it is a veritable treasure trove of vintage jewelry. These days, finding shops like this is a rarity - so much in NYC has been gentrified and made to look like anywhere USA. If I could give this shop six stars, I would! Perry helped me back them and once again in November 2022. This place is a visual delight for an artist and jewelry lover - there are so many interesting pieces, it's almost hard to focus! I could literally spend $200 on sterling silver here, but I only spent $22 on two unique old sterling charms on this visit. The customer service is beyond fantastic - whenever I considered a piece, Perry polished it so I could see what it really looked like. He was also incredibly patient because it took me longer than it should have to make a decision.

Wonderful little repair shop with fair prices and quick service. I took a few vintage silver bracelets in to be cleaned and repaired. She re-threaded one bracelet and shined up the other two for me and they look awesome now. This is why I like supporting local businesses! Good service and prices. Thank you!
