The best martial artist I ever met is also the manager of this place. Yes I know the guy but I meet him there when I already knew the place. He contributes a lot to keep the place organized and pleasant. McCarren is clean, pleasant, feels like an extension of my home because you fell welcomed. It has space enough to train almost everything that your body needs to move. Great employees. Great vibe, great classes, children friendly, great bathrooms, easy to become a member, not expensive. In the summer the outside pool is the biggest attraction of Greenpoint and Williamsburg. Summer without McCarren Play center is not summer. A place that makes Greenpoint and Williamsburg more welcoming. Everyone knows McCarren Play Center. It belongs to these dual communities. One tip, before going to McCarren, read the rules about accessing the pool.

Um dos melhores artistas marciais que eu já conheci é também o gerente desse lugar. Tá certo, eu conheço a pessoa mas eu também já conhecia o lugar antes de o conhecer. McCarren é limpo, agradável, parece a extensão da sua casa porque você se sente bem vinda. Tem muito espaço pra treinar quase qualquer coisa que seu corpo precisa pra se mover. Funcionários ótimos, boa energia, boas classes, crianças são bem vindas, bons banheiros, fácil de se tornar membro, barato. Fácil pra estacionar. Um lugar que faz Greenpoint e Williamsburg lugares que as pessoas se sintam bem vindas. No verão, a piscina é a maior atração do Greenpoint e Williamsburg. Verão sem McCarren Play Center não é verão. Did you know that you could join a gym in NYC for $100 per year?! You can...here. The gym is relatively small, but it is kept clean and there is no gym 'scene'. People who frequent this gym are not trying to impress each other. Each room is fairly small, but most of the time it isn't crowded here. I really love this place. Excellent exercise equipment. Great programs. Super CLEAN everything. The bathroom is spotless. Any water on the floor from the shower, the guy is right there with the mop. The lady that cleans is also right on top of things. Both are very friendly and so are the people working the desk. FANTASTIC computers and the people in charge there are super helpful. It's a great place. I wish I could get there more often. It deserves more than 5 stars. 👍
