One of the worst experiences after hundreds of nights with Marriott Location is subpar if your trip has anything to do with north of downtown Manhattan. Location is only good if Brooklyn is your primary destination Hotel is old and clearly needs renovation. Maintenance level is set to the bare minimum to keep the hotel running. As an example, the pool is now shut so they simply stick black tapes to cover up the pool signs. Also, on the 4th day of our stay, the main escalator that leads to the lobby inexplicably shut down, so you have to climb two floors before you get to the elevator Service is meh. Over the 5-night stay, I am not satisfied with any of the communication with hotel staff incl front desk, manager, or the housekeeping View is non-existing. This hotel is a great alternative to pricier Manhattan options, offering similar amenities at a much more affordable rate.
The service here was top-notch. The bartenders and servers were incredibly friendly, and the attendants in the M Club were also super nice and welcoming. The rooms were very comfortable, especially the beds, which made for a restful stay. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room—it was quite spacious by NYC standards, which was a nice bonus.
I’ve seen some negative reviews about very specific things, but none of those were my experiences. I had a comfortable five-night stay without any issues. Overall, I would definitely stay here again on a future business trip. The combination of location, comfort, and great service made this a...
Read moreThe rooms are spacious by NYC standards. This is a good hotel if you’re on business in Brooklyn. Otherwise I’d prefer something in Manhattan since this is definitely not a cheap hotel. It’s very close to a subway stop so easy to get around, but the area around the hotel is desolate at night. No good food options within the hotel itself but a lot of good places within 5...
