I was getting semi-personal training at Nicely Fit about 2x a week. I've done a few one on one personal trainings and group fitness classes before this one, but Nicely Fit was what I needed to stay consistent and motivated, as well as lose my fear of injury. In my time so far (a few months), I learned how to activate muscles I didn't even think I had and beat many of my own personal records.
The clientele ranged from experienced people looking to level up to straight beginners and the environment always felt very comfortable. Though you can organize your schedule around your specific trainer, if you can't make a certain time, you can sign up for any open timeslot and all the trainers are excellent. (Though I can't help but shout out Michelle for going above and beyond with my program, diet recommendations, and really helping me nail my form with those full body essential exercises like squatting and deadlifts)

I am so in love with this gym and the trainers that whenever i have thought about possibly moving out of LIC, i would always check how i would still get to nicely lol would not move to a place that wouldnt allow me to get here for my semi private sessions! Rob and jake are amazing, both bringing different styles, techniques, and vibes to each session. Both very knowledgeable, considerate of individual training needs, just overall great people! I also love the environment they’ve created at nicely, its a chill positive environment, i dont ever feel intimidated by the gym, everyone is nice, friendly, everyone is just happy. Read moreThis place is the best. I have been training there since it opened in early 2020 -- Jake has created the perfect place; a fully equipped gym but with timed access so it never gets crowded. I have been doing the semi-private sessions (max 4 people) which have been great. The program is highly individualized with an app that tracks progress and adjustments made by Jake when needed. I feel that I have become stronger and more aware of the mechanics of my body since training there. Jake and his crew are great guys, who take time to explain, make sure that I do the exercises right and who are just a pleasure to be around, as is the community they have created.
