NY DMV CAR INSPECTION STATION — Local services in New York

Do not go to this place. When I was here for a NY state DMV inspection the mechanic lifted the car and check the cv joints and found a little oil. He said he had to change them before passing me for the inspection. They are full of it. I took it to the next place and passed with flying colors. The grease at the CV joints was just regular oil splash. I felt like they want to make work for then selves.

Every time I've been here the main mechanic, Muhammad makes up some new thing up that's wrong with the car. Apparently, everything from my coolant sensor one day to my axle bushings the next, to a number of other things the third. Great place. Competent and professional. The mechanic explained everything clearly when I asked him. Only 4 stars because of scheduling. They don't do appointments, more general times.
