UPDATE 19th of October 2024. You can’t imagine how much I regret having bought these shoes. It’s just 330 USD standing useless under my bed. Money I could have spend on something really nice which I can actually use. Such a shame to let your clients down.
UPDATE 8th of October 2024. Despite this review, despite the fact that these pictures have in the meantime been seen about 1.500 times, despite the fact of having a "case number", despite calling the call center 3 times, despite writing on the European Red Shoe website requesting an intervention : NOTHING has been done to resolve this. I have been promised that "someone" would be getting in touch. This is just window dressing. Lousy shoes, horrible service.
Amazing store and outstanding service indeed. But horrible shoes : there is water seeping in through the top seems, damaging the leather. I expect differently for shoes well over 330 USD.

Read morePurchased a pair of King Toes at this location back on February 23rd 2024. There was no issue with the service given at the store but instead with the quality of the left boot I purchased. Initially when I bought to boots I also purchased the fatigue soles and wore them with the boots. There was some squeaks/rubbing coming from the left boot and at the time I thought it might been the fatigue soles which needed to be broken in. Recently I decided to wear my old pair of King Toes and swap the soles purchased in and there was none of that rubbing/squeak sound at all so I can only assume the left boot I purchased had a defect of some sort. These are my 4th pair of red wings I've purchased in over the span of 12 years I think and this is actually the first time I've encountered this issue. This is also my first time purchasing them from this location. I recommend going to another one of their locations to potentially avoid the same thing happening to you as well. I was helped immediately by a staff member which was nice, however he paid very little attention to sizing. Only measured my foot length and stood a decent way back to do so. No ball of foot pivot point or width measured. He brought out several sizes no problem, but I found the experience had a lack of guidance, especially considering it was my first boot purchase and reading about the expert fitting from other locations. Also not much information of how different leathers will stretch or fit. I ended up picking up a pair that I now think is a .5 size too big.
