I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone…
The price is affordable especially in the city. However, the service still doesn’t deserve the price. Consider they have multiple masseuses, this review is purely based on my own experience. Maybe they have some great masseuses but what I got was probably the worst masseuse I had ever had. Several reasons:
When I was in the room to change, the lady asked me twice if I am ready. The first time she knocked the door, the second time she directly opened the door without asking and I was still changing my clothes;
The most important point: her skill is very bad and completely amateur in my opinion. I got 60 minutes body massage, and instead of helping me relax muscles, she kept pressing on my back bones and it was very painful. My pain tolerance is relatively high and I never complained during massage ever, but I couldn’t even stand that. It seems that she didn’t know where the muscle knots are, and she just randomly pressed on different spots. Almost every time she pressed the muscle knots, she would press on my bones together. And in the end, she just focused on pressing on my bone to a point that I had to ask her to stop;
When she massaged on my neck, occasionally, I could sense her nail digging into my muscles. It was very uncomfortable and unpleasant;
After about 40 minutes, she left to bring hot stones and I found that she didn’t close the door…
My boyfriend and I went together and the guy who massaged on him also made him feel painful. The second day we both woke up and still felt very painful on our back and he even had a little bruises on his back...
I still left 15% tip because I know it’s not easy to give 1 hour massage. Given the price, I wasn’t expecting some excellent services but this is below the average. I feel I am paying to...
   Read moreIf you are looking for a non-sketchy and totally legit quick spa, this place is great! It was exactly what I was expecting. Prices are super reasonable and the value is solid. Don’t expect frills - this is just like a reflexology shop you would see on the West Coast, if you are familiar. This is the massage version of an inexpensive nail salon, but if you aren’t expecting something fancy, you will enjoy this.
I got exactly what I was seeking and had a fantastic foot massage from Peter. He was so good and I felt like he really care about doing a good job. He didn’t “chop,” my feet and legs as his only move and he took his time. It was great!
From what I could tell, they don’t do foot and body in the chairs, like many other salons I have been, to - they will split feet and body work, where the body work is more like a typical massage experience, with a private room. I didn’t try that though, so just assuming. The place is clean and the people are all super friendly. Conversation is light, which is appreciated.
My only major observation was the music. It seemed like one bad instrumental on a loop with some random animal noises laid over the music. Cats meowing, cows bellowing and goats/lambs. At first I thought there was a cat in the spa and then I thought maybe a kid playing a game somewhere, but when it looked again (and again) I knew it was the background noise. I would request they up their spa music game (happy to provide recommendations and even a USB drive), but otherwise, totally pleased with...
   Read moreIt was the most horrible experience in my life! I got a couple pampering massage 90 mins on groupon. When we got there the receptionist asked first to pay $8 tax each and then she scanned my groupon. Then we went to the dark room, not really clean, it smelled funny and the towels looked not fresh. The masseuses were two ladies no english speaking. Mine was so rough, I thought she was kneading my body like a dough with so much pressure with her elbows and knees. I felt she was literally on top of me! I was giving her a sign it’s too much but she kept going rough! She used hairband on my hair and I don’t know where it came from! She brought hot stones and did some zigzag on my back for a minute. Then she put some oil and more pressure on my body! The air conditioner was on high and half of that time I was freezing there! Foot massage was ok! i couldn’t wait to be done felt so uncomfortable! After the massage the receptionist asked for $75 each, which I said it was a groupon and already paid for and she still wasn’t! sure because she didn’t remeber. I wanted to tip the ladies even though i didn’t like it but that was their work, I paid to the receptionist, not even sure if the ladies will get their money ever! Overall, this morning woke up with chest pain from the massage and I can barely breathe! I might have to go to ER! So disappointed! AVOID at...
