The passion, innovation, creativity, and motivation Saint-Cyr Art Studio staff brought to the ABGS MS Community was truly incredible. The vision and integrity of our namesake Alverta B. Gray Schultz shines through in our school lobby. This stunning mural encompasses the IB Character Traits our school focuses on practicing and bringing forward into our everyday lives. Including our very own students in the process of this journey gave them the experience to know how to be inventive, work as a team, and see the project completion. During the Summer 2022 our school contracted the Saint- Cyr Art Studio to paint a mural for our school. The project began with a visit from with Ms. Saint- Cyr to discuss the format and layout of the mural. We weren’t exactly sure what we wanted, but our vision was to have a mural that would inspire students using positive affirmations and motivating images. Ms. Saint- Cyr took our ideas and sent us a visual proposal and this is when the magic began. For two weeks, artists from the Saint- Cyr Art Studio worked with our students and painted the mural.
