Try to find an other school.scammers !!!! All what they about is your money. I have to share my experience with this school like that tomorrow if something happens don’t blame the school… I took English classes back in 2014 that’s when I came to USA with 00 knowledge of how schools system works in here .. so that Arabic speaking lady that supposed to help me with my applications witch i thought she did unfortunately never helped with any especially fafsa. I attended 2 semester going to class every day like everyone else.after 2 years I received the letter from the collection agency that lIU own me 3000. It was a good surprise I contacted the school several time there was no help I decided to go I met with the same lady that did the application she is trying to avoid me I asked her u were supposed to tell me what’s going on with my application and now u have to help fix this problem she said I can’t do anything and walked away. I went to the financial aid department no help as well so mean I told them you have to tell me when I was in school that something wrong with my application or something. Just need to know that if attend the class I have to pay right way I mean while or before even start the classes. I think that’s how it should be. If I can’t pay for my classes and then I won’t go. Or if I decided to attend it will be my responsibility. Now they hired a law firm just to collect the money i really want to fight because I’m sure so many students got through this and many more will so be carful with this school please student Go else where. It’s not right to do this for anyone each yes is just not fair I see it as stealing and and is...
Read moreI like it there, people are very chatty so if you want to make a few friends jump in the convo. I like the campus, its always well kept. Security is always around so you don't have to worry. I love the juice bar, non branded coffee house as well as the Starbucks in the Metcalf building. Not only food on campus is good but there is also things to choose from off campus like Mc'Donalds, Seven Eleven which thrives off of the students looking to eat more for less, applebees, juniors, and fosters which has great soul food. Professors are usually very helpful ONLY if you ask for help, if you dont they will assume you are a whiz and leave you be. There is always parties and gatherings going on to help you step back from school work cramming and enjoy the throws of socializing. YES it is horridly expensive but once you go there you start to understand why and that's because they offer a lot more than the average bear (AKA CUNY/SUNY schools). There is the learning community which helps you network by having you rotate through elective classes (math, English, biology ect) with the same small group of five to six friends so that no matter what class you go to you know someone. No other college care to do that. In my opinion they offer great classes and the best thing is that you can always chat up a few people a class or two ahead of you to see who is the best prof and when is the best time to grab on to your chem book and run like hell! I rather pay a little more to get a little more. I love this school and all the things they offer including the new Apple Ipad 3 they give out to new and...
Read moreIf you’re considering enrolling here don’t. This is not a school built for learning; it’s built for chaos, burnout, and frustration. The administration has no regard for student time or wellbeing. Exams, quizzes, and workshops are announced with little to no notice sometimes less than 24 hours and then scheduled outside of class time, forcing students to miss work and personal commitments. When you raise concerns, the response is essentially “too bad.”
The teaching quality is abysmal. Lectures are disorganized, instructors read directly off slides, and when an exam is open-note, it doesn’t even help because the material is taught so poorly that you still have no clue what’s going on. The program creates an environment where survival replaces actual learning. And then they wonder why their pharmacy licensing exam pass rate is 60%!
There’s also a rampant cheating problem that the administration refuses to address. Instead of investigating or improving exam integrity, they make tests harder and pile on even more assignments punishing the honest students while rewarding those who cheat. It’s demoralizing and unfair.
And the tuition? Around $50,000 a year for what? Outdated facilities, overworked professors, and a cafeteria that charges a dollar for a plastic fork. Every part of this place screams exploitation rather than education.
If you care about your mental health, your time, and actually learning your profession look elsewhere. This school does not care about its students; it cares about appearances and...
