Never again will I come back to Han Dynasty Brooklyn. My girlfriend and I have been coming here for 5 years and tonight was the worst experience we’ve ever had. Made a reservation for 9:15pm came in at 9:13pm was told “we’re not sitting anymore the takeout is over there” and I told them I had a reservation. We were greeted by this punk Dylan who had the stinkiest and rudest attitude. He walked around asking every other employee if it’s ok for us to sit down and came back and told us “just so you know everything has to be ordered by 9:30 because that’s when the kitchen close.” We ordered right away and he couldn’t keep up with what we said and he asked “say it again” to which I responded with “you didn’t get that?”. He went and said “Say it again”. My girlfriend had to interfere before I cussed this guy out. I don’t know who is training these new employees but this kind of customer service is outrageous and your district manager might need to take a look at what your GM and team are doing. The kitchen doesn’t close until 1am in the morning every day for take out. The food came out quickly but it was meh and honestly ever since the old team all moved to the LIC location, both the service and the food has gone down hill. Last time I called to come in to eat they said they close the dining room at 9:30 and we made our way there at 9:15 and the entire dining room was already closed. I don’t know if the hours of operation was changed but you can’t not sit people until the closing time. It is such a shame to see a place we’ve been loyal to for the last 5 years changed in such a...

So I had a poor experience from start to finish. When my girlfriend and I arrived the hostess simply just looked at us and pointed at the table to sit down at and didn’t walk us over to the table. Once we sat down there was no “hi or hello” or sharing what their name was. They took our drink orders and then our appetizers. The lemonade tasted like water. We had a DIFFERENT server take our food order (so the original server I guess decided not to wait on us anymore? Even though the restaurant didn’t have too many people in it at all).

Our food came pretty fast out of the kitchen so that was great. My girlfriend had the Braised beef soup, it was a solid 7/10. I had the Lo-Mein and it was okay a solid 6/10. BUT during the ENTIRE time we were eating no one came and checked in on us to see how the food was or if we needed anything. The initial waitress we had along with the waitress that took our order were just standing near the POS system near the kitchen and were just looking as we ate. The energy and vibe was off from the time we got to the door. We didn’t feel welcomed , more if we were just there and they were going to serve us the food so we can eat and leave.

The only time when we were checked on was when it was time for the check. The waitress stood over my girlfriend as she was paying on the mobile POS card reader and watched as she was giving the tip as well. (No it wasn’t a good tip, as the service was horrible and extremely un-inviting). Safe to say we won’t be going back and not because the food was bad (because it wasn’t it was OKAY 6/7 out of 10) but...

Take out is a shambles, just after opening, with NO crowd.

I was in a rush, so I asked how long it would take. I was told 10 minutes and went along with it.

15 minutes later, still waiting. Nobody at the takeout side to even talk to. Finally managed to get somebody’s attention and told them that if my order wasn’t being made that I would like to cancel.

The lady that took my order came out, and first told me that one more thing was being made, and when I asked her how long it would take she said one more minute. That minute eventually turned to three. Whatever, late is late, and I had my order.

Then when I got home, I opened it up, and it was not my order. Thankfully I live a few minutes away so I rushed back.

When I got back and informed her it was the wrong order she looked at me like I was just trying to make trouble. I then showed her that one item wasn’t what I ordered, and there was an item short. I told her I wanted a refund because I didn’t have any more time to waste, she complied without any issue. But she seemed a little shocked that I wanted a receipt showing said refund.

And to be clear, order was was at 11:40am, the restaurant had maybe 4 people eating inside, and there were takeout orders (the people ahead of me took over 5 minutes to order 5 items somehow). There wasn’t the sort of demand that should cause this. Unacceptable. Hopefully the whole refund comes through so that I don’t have to go back and...

I was walking around Downtown today and I saw this place on Google Maps. I took it upon myself to give this place a try. When I entered I was greeted and seated by a young lady. The place looks very nice. Everything is clean. After 3 minutes, my order was taken by a young man. I ordered scallion beef with a side of white rice and chicken dumplings in chili oil. The chicken dumplings come in 4. I loved the flavor so much. The chili oil wasn’t too spicy. The dumplings were perfect and soft. I never really had dumplings before, but this is something that I would try again. I give that a 8.5/10. However, I didn’t really enjoy the scallion beef. The scallion and onions was overpowering the meal, but the beef was tender and quite flavorful. I give it a 6/10. Something was missing there. I tried to add soy sauce and duck sauce to see what could be different but idk it just wasn’t for me. I couldn’t even finish it😭The white rice was perfect though. Fluffy to my liking. The customer service is amazing. They’re quick, swift and are glad to answer questions. One of them even helped me to use a chopstick. Honestly it was the only meal I had that day, so I can’t really judge but they could definitely do better and add more kinds of food to the menu. I feel like I wasted money though. $40 for one meal and 4 dumplings?!😐😐Do I recommend? Not really, but if you could try one thing is the dumplings in chili oil; that I recommend.

Not bad. The food here is good and the location is nice but service was a little lackluster. I ordered a mapo tofu, thai milk tea with bubbles, fried chicken wings, dumplings and dan dan noodles. The dan dan noodles were really good and had a spicy, peanut butter taste to it. The fried chicken wings were a bit disappointing because they were kind of hard to bite into as the skin/batter was very tough but the flavoring of the chicken wasn't too bad. The pork dumplings that I got weren't very spectacular either since it tasted a little bland with the chili oil not even able to save it. The mapo tofu though was REALLY spicy and I felt like it was a really good amount of spice as all mapo tofus should be. It was so good I felt myself sweating a bit while eating but the meat in the dish was really missing in the dish. While eating it, it didn't feel like there was any minced pork in there? My friend, on the other hand, ordered a drink, happy Buddha, and we had to ask 4 different waiters before he actually got his drink. Keep in mind, the fourth waiter came up to us and asked if we were done with our dishes but he still didn't even get his drink yet. Overall not a bad food spot and the lunch menu was priced well considering we were in DeKalb food market hall.

OMG truly authentic Chinese food that is fresh and tasty! I visited this place for lunch on Friday afternoon before lunch was done I knew I would be back very soon. Saturday afternoon I visited with my fiancé for a late lunch and the food once again did not disappoint. The serving sizes are large. One entree is enough to feed two people comfortably. We ordered two entrees and one appetizer there was so much food left over! So be mindful of the size when ordering. The food was delicious so tasteful and delicious. Served fresh, hot and fast you can’t miss this place! It was just an all round great experience! We ordered dumplings in hot oil… delicious, cumin chicken….. delicious….. garlic sauce chicken… delicious. Asa side we ordered their Bok Choy with mushrooms this dish was good but not as good as the others. Next time we will definitely skip this side dish. The staff each time we visited were friendly and very good at their jobs. We have absolutely no complaints and we will definitely be back soon
