I think it’s insane that their virtual office agreement/contract states that the company isn’t responsible for any lost/damage/stolen mail when that’s specifically what you’re hiring the company for. GreenDesk also restricts mail up to 11x17.
When I mentioned this to the representative, my email stated:
“Thank you for your prompt detailed response! I am interested in the first option for mail handling services only at $49/month. However, I have reviewed the contract and I believe section E and F are unreasonable in regards to the service. If I am hiring a company specifically for mail handling, it’s contradicting, for that company contract to state that the company isn’t responsible for any lost/damage/stolen mail. Furthermore, the company also states that it reserves the right to change the contract at anytime without written notice, which again seems extremely unreasonable, I would like to trust that what I sign is what both parties are bonded to and if GreenDesk decides to change the agreement at anytime after my contract is signed, I should receive written notice of these changes and reserve the right to end my contract if I don’t agree with the new changes.”
GreenDesk representative, Brittany M’s response was:
“Hi Aliyah,
The agreement needs to be signed as is. The virtual office plan is our most basic plan and we have kept it the same since 2008. If you would like to opt out of the contract, we just require a 30 day notice.”
That response seems very rude to me, it completely disregarded valid concerns regarding their contract. I thanked her for her time and left the...
Read moreI will give this place a higher rating/review if they are willing to commit to helping their tenants. This place is highly focused on making a profit, and I honestly don't know why they use the name "Green", they are zero green. Also, This place if filled with different clients, most recent, a group of kids that use one of the conference rooms. The summer also gets very loud with kids walking around the hallways, running, screaming, etc. Is not their fault, they are kids. They are so loud that it is impossible to use the common areas or the phone booths. One time I was in a call and my client thought that those were my kids. Again, the owner/management of this place needs to respect the professionals working at this building, and this is not happening. GREENDESK if you read this review the kids problem needs to be solved asap, this is not a place for daycare or after school or summer camp. Most of us parents respect our co-workers and don't bring our kids here or are okay with having after school...
Read moreWe've had our office here since April of this year and really like it -- the location can't be beat, for one thing. It's near a ton of subways in and out of Manhattan and to all parts of Brooklyn... and the food options nearby are awesome (DeKalb Market, Trader Joe's!) Best thing though is that the team supporting the location are stellar -- we love Karen, who manages the facility (she hooked us up with this wonderful printer stand that we are obviously very proud of...see the picture!) And would you believe the woman who cleans and maintains the third floor (and keeps everything shiny like a new penny!) is named Illuminata? Amazing, right? The price is awesome, the patio is chill, and all of our office neighbors are friendly, but keep out of our business (as in polite, and neighborly, not nosey and interrupting.)...
