I have been living in this district since 2007. I've constantly went this store past quite a while. However, a problem occured yesterday. I asked one of the store staff to change my name due to 1) the spelling is not even correct(which they miss single o) 2) I changed my name from Korean to English name. The staff said she had changed my name on the system. This was a year ago. I have not gotten any paper work from verizon, hence I assumed that they had changed my name since then. But when I went this store yesterday, because of name difference, I cannot get even get access to my account. If they need to organize the system, then please do so or training the staff more precisely. As a result, the solution manager NELSON threaten me by saying "do you wanna do this or not? because I can close your account down." First of all, I was there to buy new Iphone that provides from your company. Second of all, do not play around with my personal profile. Last and least, please train your staff with profesionalism. Read morethis is the worst verizon store on the planet. the employees are rude, dismissive and unhelpful. today, they refused to honor a text message offer verizon sent me and they kept telling me it’s not true. i called verizon and they of course told me it’s a valid promo just had to be done over the phone. they could’ve easily told me this but instead tried to get me to pay much more in store. the manager (Vijay) came over and basically yelled at me that I wasn’t understanding and then refused to talk to me. Also the female associate was on a kindle reading when I walked in and was visibly annoyed that she had to actually work. Last time I was here, they repeatedly told me they needed to talk to my dead dad and refused to listen to me that it wasn’t an option. I’m on the phone with Verizon and they told me they regularly get complaints about this store. Read moreOn Friday, May 10th, I paid an in-person visit to my neighborhood Verizon location at 26 West 23rd Street. I needed assistance with a text notification I received indicating that I used more than 90% of my data plan. This is the first time I ever received this kind of notification, with no previous indication as to the percentage of data used, and I’ve been a customer for many years. Jalen is the Solution Specialist that assisted me and worked through all that needed to be done for my accounts (I have 2 phones). He was knowledgeable, patient, kind and had a sense of humor….thankfully!!! He took the time to explain things in detail and I never felt rushed. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was resolved to my satisfaction, including updating my plan and downloading the Verizon App onto my phone. I also had the pleasure of meeting another associate, Hugh, and he was just as welcoming. It was an excellent and positive experience and if I could give more than 5-star...
