I was recently made an honoree at a Power Women In Business Event where Sensual Aesthetics was present. Let me start off by saying it takes quite a lot to aggravate me as Im no "safe space", "other viewpoints offend me" kind of person. In fact its quite the opposite with me. While being an honoree at this event was special, it was a highly diminished experience by the Dr.'s presentation. The presentation itself on a professional level looked sub-par at best. But the real crux of the issue for me and all the women around me (in fact three got up and left the room entirely) was that we were there to be honored for our brains and accomplishments. This was an event that we all looked good at, and dressed nicely for, but the event itself wasnt about our looks. I hesitate to mention this as it sounds like some new aged feminist nonsense, which I am completely against as a person. It felt like the presentation was basically reducing us- these wonderful and very accomplished women, philanthropists, charitable, CEO's, business owners... back to worrying about whether or not we look good enough. Then the presentation took a complete downward spiral where the good Dr. decided it would be educational to teach us about how not only do our faces and necks and breasts lose elasticity and we require his services before disintegrating to the point where our husbands wont want us unless we look new again, but also that our vagina's arent in good enough shape either and should be "tightened up." Now, I dont know about you, but talking about my vagina is not usually something I do in a roomful of women with a Doctor and my husband and other husbands in the room- especially when the accolades are about my brains and not my ability to get or give more sexual pleasure to anyone. Then the final straw was when the Doctor had the ingenious idea to compound the above insults by showing us fully nude pictures of other peoples bodies without so much as even a verbal or written warning in the video or by himself. In fact, so many of us felt disgusted by this the awards show cut the video and had to apologize. The Doctor further insisted on attempting to ruin my evening by catching me as I was going into dinner with friends and family (about an hour after this debacle) and at first he just apologized which I thought was good, but then it became a front for him to ask why myself and others found it distasteful. I tried to tell him that this was not the time or the place as I was attempting to enjoy my evening, but he just wasnt having it. So, as I tried to tell him it was completely inappropriate he couldnt seem to understand why. Well, sir, I am going to enlighten you.
Firstly, the name of your business is revolting. There is nothing SEXY about aesthetic surgery. It is a serious and painful process that women and men go through mostly for cosmetic reasons because they feel bad about themselves because others have made them feel bad about themselves. Theres nothing sexy about that. Theres nothing sexy about your profit on that either. Its a business, which is just as good as the next but it is NOT sensual or sexy in any manner.
Secondly, you sought to capitalize on a confined group of women all there to receive an honor, a captive audience before the other guests arrived, to sell your products- which I can most definitely assure you was not done at the Kings of Long Island event because I was there as my husband was honored. You appealed to the worst of our fears, the ugliest of our concerns on a night we should be feeling so proud of ourselves, only to be reminded that no matter what, how we look will never escape us.
Thirdly, your presentation as far as presentations go- sucked. It was long, overdone, and boring at best. At its worst it had VIDEO of shooting lazers inside a vagina in order become "tighter." While this may be a very real concern for some women- it is PRIVATE concern, and the mere mention of this in a list of services would have definitely sufficed for anyone who possibly was interested in...
ย ย ย Read moreOver 2 years ago I met the wonderful staff and Doctor Mo, and I'm still happy with my results. They were very honest and professional. I'm in my mid-40s and never looked so radiant and beautiful. I had acne, dark spots, wrinkles, uneven skin color, more hair than a man! It used to take me hours to get ready trying to cover up, waxing, shaving, and everything under the sun. Today I'm a free woman, I get up in the mornings, and I just wash my face and put daily protection face lotion. No only the Doctor helped with my face, he also fixed some trouble spots, stretch marks and scars that I had in my lower abdomen. We all want to have a long life, getting old is inevitable, why not doing it gracefully. We can't turn the clock/time, but we can slow the process. feel and look AMAZING! Thank you Sensual Aesthetics for making me a stronger, beautiful and proud woman again. Note that I did a lot of research before choosing SA, I had 2 consultations @Sentual Aesthetics, and met the Doctor who also answered all my questions. I give...
