I worked with Amy Wang, who works in NYC.
I have never met someone so skilled and competent and honest, watching out for your best interest.
I tried 3 brokers prior to Amy, and my situation scared them off. Two brokers underpriced the rental price by at least $900/month. Renting a co-op versus a condo are very different and she understands the timing and market in both areas.
I don’t live in New York and she helped me immensely (ie paint, lacquering my tub, lights, mailbox, smoke detector, even the bolt on the toilet, and more), getting my apartment ready for rental or sale — doing a million things, tirelessly working on the weekends and holidays and even late at night, aiding in the boarder package application, amongst other things. She understands contracts too and will tell you what the fair value of a contractor’s work is. She even knows what a “COI” form is (dealing with turning on the gas — see attached photos), which is definitely a different process in other states. One peek at that document, I told myself “Let Amy handle it.”
Her clientele of renters/tenants are highly skilled professionals in disciplines like law, technology, and finance. She forwarded many of their employers’ letters and references and made sure they had enough income to rent your unit and would respectfully treat your space (ie large pets, etc).
Truly skilled, tech savvy and smooth communicator — Great...
Read moreSERHANT. markets itself as a cutting-edge brokerage, but behind the flashy branding and reality TV hype is a company that fails to deliver even the most basic level of professional service. They appear far more focused on their own image and agenda than actually advocating for their clients.
We are currently under contract and have made multiple attempts to address serious concerns with our broker of record, as well as escalate them to Paul Bologna, the head of the New York office. All of our outreach has been ignored. This isn’t just unprofessional—it’s a complete abandonment of their fiduciary responsibility.
Rather than representing our best interests, SERHANT. pushed hard for us to move forward with deals that suited their goals, not ours. These brokers don’t help you—they work for themselves. It’s the textbook definition of sleazy real estate practices.
We strongly recommend avoiding this firm. In our experience, SERHANT. has not demonstrated the integrity, accountability, or client-first mindset that should be standard in the industry. Do not sign contracts with this firm.
Negative stars are warranted, but one is the lowest...

As a fellow real estate agent in Washington state, I can fully give my endorsement for this real estate company and everything they can do to help you buy or sell, high and luxury real estate. Do not hesitate to reach out for your real estate needs in the New York City area and beyond. They are a great resource of knowledge and expertise in the industry, and I am very glad they help so many buyers...
