STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS More detail below but tldr is I had an unfortunately uneducated and unskilled esthetician who scarred my nose but blamed it on me.
I tried to contact management because I hate to leave a negative review based on one poor experience, but it is also clear that there is no accountability because the front desk refused to give me a manager contact for feedback, and told me to just complete the satisfaction survey.
This was hands down the worst facial I have received in the past 20 years of regular facials. My current skincare routine happens to not include toner at the moment because I havenât found one yet that works for me. The esthetician started off by asking about my current routine which includes hyaluronic acid, brightening serums, retinol (which I stopped for two weeks prior to my facial), vitamin c, moisturizer, sunscreen, the whole nine yards. She scolded me for not using toner, and proceeded to spend the entire facial telling me how bad it was that I didnât use toner. She blamed the cleanser not working well enough because I didnât use toner. She blamed her unskilled extractions on me not using toner. She blamed the facial not really working because I didnât use toner. She proceeded to shame me for not using toner a total of ten times during my facial, and had the audacity to push a toner sale on me at the end.
This was easily the worst, most painful extraction of my life. Tears were streaming down by face and she wouldnât stop, as she was too busy telling me that my face was really red because I wasnât using toner (as you can imagine, the redness and bleeding was actually from improper extractions). I have significant chunks of skin that were removed from my nose. Anyone who has experienced a professional facial knows that this kind of damage is not acceptable nor normal in any situation.
I am happy to share additional feedback as well as the estheticianâs name for anyone who would like to avoid the same mistake, but I wonât shame them as they tried...

Original review (2-stars): I was really excited to go in for a facial after reading great reviews. I was in DEEP need of the 50-min acne fighting facial and my main focus was extraction of my blackheads (and a couple whitehead). The esthetician who did my facial, took a quick look at my skin and immediately recommended on doing the Seasonal Facial with extraction instead of the Acne-Fighting facial, which I had originally came in for.
I told her that extraction was my priority since my T-zone was filled with blackheads and that's why I had chosen the acne-fighting facial. It seemed like we were on the same page and she went on to explain each product used and I was enjoying my facial. By the time we were done I realized she spent approx. 5 min on extraction and I mentioned it to her and she gave an excuse saying my skin was dry or something to that extent.
Long story short, I woke up the next morning and my skin felt the same or even worse (after $400+ for both my boyfriend and I). I had the same amount of blackheads AND whiteheads, she didn't focus on my blemishes at all. Which, is the whole reason I went.
They sent me a follow-up email requesting I do upkeep with them, and recommending certain products for my skin. So I emailed them back sharing my concerns and that I was not satisfied. I wanted to reach out to them before leaving a review. I never heard back from them. For a place that was so pricey and was constantly contacting me regarding appointment confirmation and post-treatment/upkeep, I found it very disappointing that they were not able to respond to...
Read moreMy husband and I went to Silver Mirrors flatiron location to both get facials. We booked for the same facial package (acne fighting facial) but with different add ons. Everything with my facial went well but it wasnât until 2 days later, my husband and I were talking about the facials and we realized that there were parts of the acne fighting facial that I experienced and he did not. This facial included high frequency waves and blue LED therapy; both of which my husband did not experience. I contacted the location to find out why is it that my husband didnât experience everything that was included in the facial and I was told by a woman who works reception that JANE (my husbands esthetician that day) was off that day and the next day so they will send her an email to find out why the facial had missing components. I was also told that they would reach out to me after she responds to let us know how we can schedule another day for my husband to redo the facial to get the full experience. Letâs just say silver mirror did not get back to me and itâs been over a month later.
Customer service is disappointing and I am upset that we spent over $400 at this place and did not experience everything that shouldâve been included. If silver mirror had more professionalism regarding this matter, I would actually consider booking follow up appointments with them. Because of this situation, l will not be booking any future appointments with them.
Id also like to add that my husband and I also had one of the last appointment slots that day on a Sunday. After hearing about my husbands rushed facial, it seems like maybe JANE wanted to hurry and leave.
HOWEVER, I will say that my facial was with PRIEST. Great personality and...
