Teso Life in Flushing, Queens: A Treasure Trove of Japanese Goods (with a note on price!) Stepping into Teso Life in Flushing, Queens, feels like a mini-trip to Japan, offering an incredible array of Japanese products. From unique snacks and beverages to adorable stationery, beauty items, and quirky household goods, they genuinely have everything you could possibly want to see in terms of Japanese consumer goods. It's a fantastic place to explore and discover new favorites. My only minor reservation is that some items can be a little bit expensive compared to other places, but the sheer variety and quality often justify the price, especially for niche or hard-to-find products. A huge plus for anyone driving is that there's convenient parking near the area, which is a significant advantage in bustling Flushing. This makes the shopping experience much less stressful. Read moreJust went there recently, the line to checkout is rather confusing as they indicated where to line up on the floor but nobody was following it. The employees didn’t bother letting the customers know where to line up so we all just stood on the line that the customers formed. As I was waiting for my turn to checkout, a lady just cuts in front of me. The employee at the register saw, looked at me and the line behind me, and continued to checkout for the individual who skipped me and many other people. Even when it was my turn to checkout, he didn’t say anything as if it was a normal thing to let someone else cut. Maybe it’s because I look young so they think it’s nothing to worry about, not even an apology for letting someone cut me. If I didn’t have more business to attend to, I would’ve acted like a karen and requested a talk with their store manager. Overall, the products there are a 5 star, but the service absolutely...
Read moreI think this location was pretty nice because they had a lot of great Japanese trinkets and it was fantastic to be able to see how my big beautiful home country of Japan was appropriately represented at this store. It was also great to see that my big beautiful home country of Japan had their market be lifted up and be represented as well amongst the amazing community aswell in flushing!
There were a lot of things to select from, and the prices were very, very reasonably priced. when I walked through those doors, it definitely revived me some fond memories of when I was a child on the snowy hilltops of Japan.
