Awful customer service. Two days in a row I had to drop off a package. Pre-addressed, pre-paid. I just wanted a receipt for proof of delivery. Both times the place was empty and the lady at the desk just motioned to drop it off at the bin. When I asked politely to "get a receipt please" the woman let out a big sigh, rolled her eyes and slowly reluctantly scanned my package and gave me a receipt. It was like I asked to punch her grandmother in the face or something rather than ask for a standard proof of acceptance. I realize people have bad days esp working in retail. But the second day was exactly the same. On the second day after I got my receipt I even said "thank you, have a nice day" and she just looked at her screen and completely ignored me. Pretty damn rude.
EDIT. Turns out the package I dropped off the second time around was lost. After days of nothing on tracking, I called UPS and they told me the package I shipped 2nd day air had no records of scanning except when it was accepted by this UPS store. I went to the UPS store and a young Asian woman was working there checked my receipt and then screamed at someone in the back whether or not someone picked up the package last Friday. She then said, "it's not in our store, you have to file a claim at UPS." At no point did she even ATTEMPT look around the small store to see if it's been misplaced or fallen behind a box. After filing a claim on the phone while there, the customer service woman asked me to ask the woman to see if it was misplaced somewhere in the store. I politely asked her to check and she simply REFUSED. She said, "it's not here," I asked very politely for her to see if she can check if it's fallen somewhere, it would take less than 5 minutes. She simply said no and that there were no parcels here (the entire place is literally littered with hundreds of boxes and packages everywhere) and she simply refused to even TRY to check. I asked for her name and said if "I speak to UPS I should tell them that you LOOKED (stressing looked) and said nothing was there?" She said "yes you can tell them that I said so." This is a package sent via 2nd day air, the most expensive shipping product they have and contained two concert tickets totaling $500. You can see why I am irked.
This place is completely irresponsible. There has been so many complaints here and on YELP about this place and it's always the same deal. Rude people, lost packages, and it seems no one does anything. I will not be coming here again and I suggest you don't either. Giving these people money is like paying someone to slap you across the face and spit...
Read moreI read the reviews but ignored them since I had no choice but to make Amazon return drop offs at this location. Wow...where do I even start? As soon as I entered, there were 3 other customers scattered, not lined up, so I just memorized who came before me because it was lunch hour so many others came in after me. There was a strong scent of body odor. I saw a male client and assumed it was him but he was long gone and the smell of armpit was still there. There was no attendant but I heard someone behind taping boxes. The female attendant finally came out. She is Eastern European and would raise her eyebrows at anything like a cellphone ring etc. Her European accent is very strong so when the woman would dictate anything like names or addresses, she would panic slightly and ask the woman to speak slower. Then a Chinese male attendant came in (probably from lunch break). When it was my turn, the female attendant made some comment that I couldn't use USPS boxes to ship in UPS. I was using re-used boxes to ship - which happened to be USPS. This has never been an issue before. I like re-using boxes because it's good for the earth. I don't care if the box is a different brand since I am returning to Amazon and not paying shipping fees based on the packaging. She even called the male attendant's attention to it then proceeded to tell me that they will accept it but I shouldn't be surprised if UPS doesn't send it to its intended destination. She was surprised and annoyed when I asked for a receipt. First of all, it's a return so I want a receipt so I get my refund. Second, after her comment that I shouldn't be surprised if UPS doesn't ship back my package because of the non-UPS box, of course I want a receipt!...
Read moreNever using this place again! $10.13 for 17 black and white print outs!? $2.50 was “computer use”
After asking for an explanation I get “I used the computer to print them didn’t I?”
What is wrong with people!?
If I did this at FedEx it would have been $1.70.
In response to owners response:
As for the pricing this is incorrect. The prices were not “in front of me” they were brought to my attention after I paid. They were nowhere near the copy machines or where we made print outs. Any professional business would have offered a refund if the customer was unhappy. Not an abrasive “ I used the computer didn’t I” condescending reply.
As for that matter you are correct. YOU used the computer not me. I do not expect to pay for the time an employee is on a computer doing his/her job. I also do not expect to be charged for the credit card machine usage every time I use a credit card, or the electricity used to run your business and etc. etc...
You are wrong sir. I am comparing apples with apples and oranges with oranges. Quite simply printouts with printouts in the financial district. FedEx, staples, and I’m sure many other locations also located in The financial district for that matter charge 15 cents per page, and obviously no charge for using the machine I used to print them. Your business charges roughly 4 times that amount and charges me $2.50 for use of the machine that YOU used.
I know this for a fact because I just did this in the same neighborhood. I was charged over $10 for something that should cost $2. Not to mention a bad attitude and a very bad taste in my mouth. Thank you for the offer but I will never be going back to your store and neither should...
