I had to find a new place for a passport photo since my usual spot closed during the pandemic. I chose This Pix based on reviews and its proximity to work, but the experience was disappointing.

The staff member was watching a video when I walked in and seemed visibly annoyed to pause it. He came across as irritated any time I asked a question. Given the positive reviews, I doubt he's the only one working there--maybe they have other actual photographers.

At my previous place, they took several photos in one go and let me choose the best. Here, I told him I only needed a digital copy--he took one bad photo, showed it to me, and after I said it wouldn't work, he took another. I didn't want to keep going back and forth when it was clear he wasn't going to get a good one, so I settled for the second shot. His cold, dismissive attitude made the whole process uncomfortable. I get anxious taking photos and needed someone to put me at ease--he did the exact opposite.

I ended up taking a photo at home for passport and submitted that. If it doesn't work for whatever reason, I'll go somewhere else. Holding a professional camera doesn't make you a professional photographer. Honestly, even CVS might've been a...

I came here to get some passport photos taken, after having received some unusable photos from CVS, which were rejected by the passport issuer.

The ThisPix service is excellent, with a well equipped photo studio and professional lighting set up. The customer service representative paid a lot of attention when taking my photo and let me review it before printing .

Everything took less than 10 minutes and my photos were fantastic and well lit / composed etc. I called ThisPix later asking him to send me higher res versions of the photos, and he emailed them straight away in two different sizes.

Walk in service and highly recommended.

Please support this local business, which I’m sure is experiencing less foot traffic due to covid, due to it being in a corporate building.

I needed EU passport photo and found this place. Very professional, friendly and quick service (it took only around 5 mins to get the photo)! Excellent photo quality!

Recently I had very poor experience of taking EU passport photo in Walgreens (their photo was unacceptable), so I needed new photo. ThisPix saved me! He has professional studio equipment and he knew EU passport photo guidelines. Also good pricing, 2 photos for $19. I got passport photo with similar price from Walgreens and their photo was unacceptable poor quality and not even following guidelines for EU passport photos.

I’m very happy with my passport photo from ThisPix! I highly recommend and would definitely use this place again!
