Update: 5/9/2024 - Judging by my numerous reviews here, you would think I was a hypochondriac and you might not be too far off the mark! Let me reiterate one more time (but certainly not the last time I'm sure) how wonderful I think this MEDRITE is. I stopped by today as I was feeling something strange on my left side above my hip area (muscular/skeletal?) and wanted to rule out something more sinister. I was greeted by Gleirys who could not have been more welcoming, kind and reassuring. Special thank you to Heaven and Daniel the PA who took wonderful care of me with their reassuring manner and professionalism. Sometimes I think I get better care here than from some of the physicians I see where I always feel rushed.
Thank you again for the excellent care MEDRITE! You rock! Update: 8/7/2023
I returned to MedRite again today because I was concerned about a bump on my ring finger which fortunately was nothing serious (Thanks again Google for allowing me to research this ailment prior to my visit and for making me panic after reading your articles.)
Why do I continue to go down that Google rabbit hole? But I digress...
Was greeted warmly by Zuha at the front desk and was seen within minutes by Jen for my vitals. Jen was super friendly, professional and efficient. Onward to Paige who reassured me that it was nothing serious and gave me some great advice re: treatment.
I'll say it again - the staff at this location is really amazing. Thank you!
Update 5/23/2023:
I returned to MedRite today with a medical issue I was experiencing and was completely stressed out when I arrived. I have to reiterate again how wonderful the staff is at this location. Special thank you to Kristy, Mely, Kennedy, Ben, Natalia, Kiran, Judah Fierstein, MD and most importantly, Mallory, who was able to talk me down from the proverbial ledge and really assuage my fears about my issue. She was so knowledgeable, approachable and down-to-earth. The staff are really top-notch and I cannot recommend them enough.
With much gratitude for the wonderful care I received!
5/25/2023:
Special thank you to Nick who called me today from MedRite to see how I was feeling. Seriously, this is what exemplary patient care is all about. Thank you MedRite and thank you Nick!

Update: I literally got a call a few days after my appointment to see how I was feeling. How...
Read moreThis place is wonderful. I live in another state, was not feeling well, thought I'd better get checked out. They quickly checked and took my insurance. That was great.
How refreshing to be in a medical clinic that has its lights turned on! From the minute I walked in, I was treated with kindness, courtesy, professionalism, efficiency and respect. From the gal who checks you in, to my wonderful, smart nurse, Tara, who did a thorough and detailed intake asking intelligent questions that mattered (to be sure she got it down right..) to Dr Benny Hakim, a young, sharp NY doctor who asked all the right questions and because he LISTENED, decided to perform a urine test on the spot that much to both of our surprise revealed the presence of kidney stones -- not what I had come in for but the reason in fact that I have been feeling so lousy! He ordered an ultra sound of my kidneys which I will be following up on. Smart doctor. And I was treated like a real person. Hallelujah. This is a first rate Urgent Care and I recommend them highly. You will be in good hands here. Because they were so obviously competent I was able to relax and trust I was being well cared for. ALSO not always the case in my experience of the medical system today. But don't get me started.....:)
One other thing that made me happy was the classical music playing softly in the waiting room. Yes - there was a tv also and they had the ball game on...with the volume turned off! That alone -- the quietude and peaceful atmosphere allowed me to relax at a moment I was feeling nervous..you know, walking into a strange place. It told me alot about the energy of the clinic -- GOOD ENERGY! Thank you, MED RITE! Can't say enough...
Read more100 but you said 1-10, so it's a 10. It went to MedRite Urgent Care yesterday for a PCR test for travel. I was very impressed that while standing on the line, these young ladies kept coming out to find out if we're being helped and helped those who needed help. When I went in to be registered Natalie was so pleasanr, friendly, professional and wanted to know my travel history because I told her that, "I live to travel". They observe strict Social Distancing in the office. Then when it was time to take the test, my nose was very dry and so clean that we couldn't get any mucus to test. The nurse who was doing it was as gentle as she could be because she had to go much further to the back of my nose a few times. She kept apologizing and said, wow, your nose is so clean and dry. I told her that it was ok and not her fault that my nose was dry. She even gave me the swab to try because I think she felt that she was hurting me. Then I decided to blow my nose in a tissue and we did get some. I commended the ladies at the front desk on their professionalism and one of them said to me, that the 3 of them including Natalie were on their 5th day of training. I wished them well on the job. Anytime I need a test or any other medical visit, I'll be back. Eventhough, I live in Brooklyn and only go to Manhattan for physical therapy. They told me if I had any issues with the test to call and let them know. All the best with your...
