This is, and has been, my go to convenience store in Astoria since I moved close to two years ago. The woman working in the afternoons/evenings is always courteous. Cash only for purchases under $10. I love all the Japanese snacks and don’t mind paying a slightly higher price than at a big East Asian grocery store because this shop is independently owned.

Plus is that their shirataki noodles are $2 while organic grocery stores will sell it for much more. Plus their tofu is also very affordable. Can pick up a quick dinner for under $6- it’s perfect.

It’s basically a regular nyc convenience store just with more Japanese / East...

They sold me BUBBLING BAD KIM-CHI. Check out video of its bubbling or photo, bubbles on left side.. The bottle was pouting out and I thought I shouldn't complain, but it was probably allowed to warm up. Anyways when I came to get a refund they cursed me out and told me "Im the only one" and some other...

Its clean, small but well packed and organized. Different variety of food and so much more. I stop at least twice a week for the fresh sushi rolls . Sing makes them fresh everyday and you can ask him for what you might like as well. Never disappointed...
