This is, and has been, my go to convenience store in Astoria since I moved close to two years ago. The woman working in the afternoons/evenings is always courteous. Cash only for purchases under $10. I love all the Japanese snacks and don’t mind paying a slightly higher price than at a big East Asian grocery store because this shop is independently owned.
Plus is that their shirataki noodles are $2 while organic grocery stores will sell it for much more. Plus their tofu is also very affordable. Can pick up a quick dinner for under $6- it’s perfect.
