I appreciate the phone service. Had an issue where the package wasn't delivered on the day it was supposed to. I had made a mistake on my end by paying UPS Next Day Air, realizing that I wouldn't be home the entire day it was supposed to arrive. The representative worked with me to look up authorized hold for pickup locations. The one closest to me had very poor reviews and rating, so I chose shipping on the day I was not home after 4pm. The next day, I sent a message via "chat" at around 3:15 PM asking if the item will ship, and the representative assured me that the package would be shipped by 9pm that night and it would arrive the following day. The following day I noticed the label was just created and the ups customer service representative said it wasn't delivered to them to ship. I called Uverly a few times, and the person via "chat" told me they'd give me a call after a few hours. After a few hours and a few calls to them, the rep picked up and I expressed that the package wasn't shipped the day they said and I wanted a full refund or a partial refund on shipping, and requested them to ship it that day. They informed that, due to inclement weather, the truck did not pick up the packages for shipment. They said they could give a full refund but it would be delivered within 3-4 business days. They wouldn't give partial refunds. After a bit back and forth with the representative and asking for a refund/product cancellation, they agreed to provide a partial refund, and that my package would arrive the next day. I appreciated the customer service ultimately. It is difficult buying online from companies, especially expensive jewelry. One company that was supposedly reputable, not just in jewelry but also in customer service, the customer service rep/the owner, would not check to see if your exchanged/returned item was received at their establishment. Granted I called USPS and was able to confirm that item was delivered to the coordinates of their exact location. But he said he'd get to it when he processes it, which was 5 days later. Very unprofessional. With Uverly, despite some difficulty, I appreciated the same-day responses via chat or phone. That's honestly pivotal, good customer service and good product. On that note, the packaging/presentation was elegant and nice, too! I liked that there was a appraisal included. If that can be used for the insurance company I'm planning to use, I will be very happy! The jewelry store near me that charges the least amount for an item to be appraised is $50 and it requires them to inspect it for a week. Crossing my fingers this appraisal will do. When wearing the bracelet, I did notice though, that the figure 8 clasp was raised so that I could not take it off. Luckily, a jewelry store was able to fix that! The only real hiccup I had was after about three days or so, after I ordered the item, I still haven’t received any communication. Perhaps it’s because the item hadn’t yet been processed and wasn’t quite yet ready for shipment but the uncertainty is only further exacerbated when you call the customer service number multiple times and are unable to reach anyone. Once I decided to switch to email communication, I have to say that the response time picked up significantly and my concerns were addressed.
Overall, I’m very pleased with the diamond lock. I think the only real improvement that can be made is ensuring that the customer service number is staffed appropriately and able to receive inbound calls about customer orders in a timely fashion. Quite good prices and quality is very nice. Should last a long time. Don’t expect a Tiffany experience or you will be discombobulated. I would definitely return to the site.
With the bracelet I found I could secure the clasp with one hand by wrapping tape inside out around the wrist tightly. The tape secured the chain on one end. I think medical tape would be best. The other hand manipulates the lobster clip end.
One other thing I learned is I can sleep with and do other activities if I place a wrist wrap around the chain. Non Velcro style that includes a thumb hole. Commonly used for arthritis.
