This store has the the worst customer service! I went into the store for a phone upgrade and was greeted by a sales person who said there would be a little of a wait. I totally understand that things can get busy especially on a Friday night. I said I didnāt mind waiting, and sat down. A sales rep came over to me to start the upgrade process 15 mins later and I was like ok great. After starting the process she disappeared out of nowhere...when I asked where she had gone another sales woman told me to she went on lunch break because they are short staffed and she has been working all day. I said ok no problem and tried my best to be understanding since I have worked in retail before. The sales representative ordered food and told me she was waiting for her delivery and she was going to eat fast then come take care of me. I waited over an hour...customers came in and left because of the wait. I asked a few times about when I would be helped, and tried to be understating but was told the sales rep was still on her break.(after an hour) The woman finally comes out and is like āListen I gotta go ....listen Iām still on break but also thereās no more of the phone you want we just sold the last fiveā I was really upset. I asked her if there were any other phones and she said āwell thereās the XS and XS plus but thatās a HUGE PRICE JUMP (horrible sales service) After that I said itās ok forget it. I went to the front desk to see if someone could call another store to see if they had another phone and another woman literally was like I have no clue go to the apple store. I just thought it was so rude that they took advantage of my patience and the fact that I was trying to be understanding. Horrible customer service and horrible training for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy experience at the AT&T Delancey Street store was a totally positive one. Although the specific product that I wanted they did not sell, I still had the opportunity to chat at length with a rather amiable associate. I was impressed with her knowledge and item recommendations. She suggested that I browse the merchandise displays ā which I did. However, my story does not end there. While I was browsing, I encountered the store manager, a most personable and delightful gentleman. And coincidentally enough, I met him at another AT&T store at a different location in a different borough (what a small world). We had a small conversation despite his other duties. He was genuinely concerned about assisting me as best he could. All in all, I was, and am impressed by the level of professionalism shown to me, from the clerk and her manager! I was listened to patiently, treated with respect, and made to feel that my time was valuable. The aforementioned store employees ought to be recognized for their dedicated work and loyalty. [And please believe me, I am still trying to āhard copyā mail my customer satisfaction and appreciation letters to AT&T Corporate Headquarters ā which appears to be all the way in Texas, as I am unsuccessful in finding its appropriate satellite in Manhattan, New York City]. The store managerās name is: Mr. Dave Pinto. Dave and team, keep up...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy wife and I recently visited the AT&T store on Delancey to open a new phone plan, and we had an excellent experience thanks to Jose. We needed to transfer her phone from Verizon, my phone from an existing AT&T plan (which was previously under my parentsā account), and my Apple watch. It was a lot to sort through, but Jose made the entire process seamless.
He was incredibly thorough, breaking down all the different options and explaining every detail in a way that was easy to understand. He was also calm and patient while we asked questions, which we really appreciated. He never rushed us and made sure we felt completely informed and comfortable with the choices we were making.
By the time we left, we felt very confident and happy with our transfer process. Itās not always easy to make these kinds of transitions, but Jose made it a smooth and positive experience. Highly recommend this location and especially Jose for his...
