Absolute joke of a company. I've been an avid sunglass collector of a decade now and I have never had a worse customer service experience. I bought a pair of Ice round's in November 2023. Loved them. They lived in their case until I was driving. I took my sunglasses off after parking and attempt to close the arms and to my surprise at the swivel point the frame cracked. I think no problem I'm still under warranty. I attempt to make a warranty claim which is like pulling nails with these people. I end up having to send in my sunglasses in for "inspection and repair" only to have to wait almost two weeks to be told my warranty request has been denied. I attempted to contact the customer service department for a week and after finally getting through to them they don't even have a supervisor to talk with keeping me on hold expecting to me to hang out up in frustration. When you charge nearly $500 after tax for a pair of nylon plastic framed sunglasses, and can't stand by your warranty, and can't even have a supervisor available to talk to I don't know what else to call this company (that wont get my review removed by google) other than a circus. They then try to offer me a repair service that costs 2/3 the price of the sunglasses. I don't understand where this company gets off trying to charge people 2/3 of the retail price for one piece having to be replaced its like they just don't want customers in the US which is why they only have one location because if they can't stand by their warranty they would have people like me showing up to their "boutique" wanting their money back for defective products. As someone who owns small businesses if someone bought a piece of glass art from me that resulted in a stress fracture over time I would, and have over the years taken care of the repair free of charge to my customer and I don't even advertise a warranty. I hope someone with more time than me goes after you guys for unfair and deceptive business practices. I won't be buying any products from Vuarnet again because its like throwing money away. I'll continue to collect from brands like Police eyewear, Persol, Gucci, Prada, Ferrari and even Ray ban before I spend another dollar with this clown show.
Update following the return of my property.
You people are absolutely crazy. You sent back my sunglasses in worse condition than when I sent them in for a repair. The damage occurred because of a seized screw at the pivot point. I was going to have them repaired by someone who wasn’t going to charge me 3/4 the price of a new pair. I hope your doors shutter because no one should have to...

Review Update. Vuarnet just contacted me and agreed to honor the warranty claim. So I am upgrading them to 3 stars. When I actually receive the sunglasses, I will likely upgrade them to 4 stars because they are good sunglasses.
Original Warranty Denial Review. I have been a Vuarnet (now Thelios/LVMH) wearer since my teen years. I bought a pair from Vuarnet's website. After about 10 months, one hinge completely failed and the other hinge was hanging on by a thread. I sent the sunglasses in for warranty service.
