Quaint little shop on Mulberry St that houses a wide selection of Chinese figurines, statues, and memorabilia. The best part is everything is openly displayed so you can touch and examine for any imperfections. (Yes, there are little notes everywhere that says not to touch, but you can absolutely touch when you ask to have an employee standing next to you and are serious about buying.) There is a competitor just next door called Dollar More (85 Mulberry) that does have cheaper alternatives, but not nearly as diverse of a selection. Pros: It's the typical quality merchandise that you will find in fake antique stores back in Hong Kong that have no historical significance but looks really good as home decor to the untrained eye. That older gentleman helped me seal the deal for what I thought was a reasonable 20% discount. I left happy and thanked all of the employees for engaging in our customary...
Read morePhenomenal place and lowest prices you'll find on the highest quality antiques and statues you'll probably find in all of the US or at least this is one of the top 3 places in the US to buy. They have statues that cost well over $3000 here but make no mistake, it is the real thing and not an imitation (at least not at that price). Love their $1 items as well and I've spent some good money with them and am extremely pleased with everything.
You will find it spiritual as there is very good energy in the store especially in the back right hand corner with all the...
Read moreTouring Chinatown for the first time, I was looking for a special place like this to bring home an imported piece from this magical space in NYC. This was it. This family ran business was incredible--friendly, helpful and one of a kind. Exquisite and timeless high-end decor and items (yet very affordable) and special inexpensive souvenirs great to pick up and carry on a plane. I picked a stunning Jade horse head this time around. My trip next year, this will be the place to return to for my next...
