CHOOSE ANOTHER WARRANTY COMPANY! Take your business elsewhere! After waiting for 14 months, YES! 14 MONTHS! for a part to come in for a simple warranty repair, we were told by the office staff that they would not be completing our warranty repair request. The garbage and misinformation spouted off to us from Tammy during the 14 month duration were things such as, the part must be delayed due to Covid, we have received 2 of the 3 parts but are unsure where the 3rd part is, my life fell apart and you know. NO TAMMY, we don’t know and/or care about your personal problems. When we asked who she was ordering this elusive part from, her response was, “I keep emailing Whirpool and I can’t seem to get a reply.” After getting off of the phone with Whirlpool ourselves, and researching the part# online, we found that Whirpool had 2 of the parts in stock, as well as, 3 other retailers online. Strange! When confronted with this information, Tammy replied, “I keep emailing them and do not hear back.” We then asked, “How long does that go on? You send an email and hear no reply, another 14 months?” This is when she told us, “McCammons would no longer be servicing our warranty contract”, and hung up the phone. WOW! Clearly, they were holding out for a cheaper part from their “supplier” and would wait forever until that cheaper part came in, at the expensive of our inconvenience. Thankful for Whirpool being an exceptional company, they have since rectified the situation without the involvement of McCammons. Save yourself the time and headache and choose another company to do your warranty...

After the repair guy left my fridge made strange noises it hadn't made before and quit working again that night. It was a Friday so I had to wait until Monday to even let them know about the problem because they don't take calls over the weekend. They gave me some possible reasons why my 1 year old fridge wasn't working, offered to try the same "fix" for an additional $200 and said I probably just had a bum fridge. Even if I do just have a bum fridge I would have appreciated a partial-refund but they won't. I am not blaming them necessarily but I am pretty disappointed and feel ripped off. Read moreOur microwave broke on Aug 21, 2020. GE assigned the repair to McCammon in Newport. They were to come out on Sept 9th but that was delayed until Sept 23. Tech showed up and said the control panel was out and he couldn't order until next day because he would be to tired when he got back to shop. I had to order the part and when it arrived on Oct 6th they sent tech out on Friday Oct 9th. He put new panel on and than said it was also the Magnetron and he wouldn't order until Monday the 12th. No sense of emergency and this time they can only order the part because of danger putting it in. Now it looks like two months without Microwave.Also don't call because they are closed from 11:30 to 1:00 for lunch and all day on Friday.
