Vacation Internationale — Hotel in Newport

I was staying here with a friend. The place is in a great location and was bright and clean. But the noise from the unit upstairs was unbearable. At times the thumping on the floor made me actually jump. You could hear them talking. They had a dog that they left for awhile that howled for over an hour. When resort management was called it was explained that the above unit was an embarcadero hotel rental but they would contact their management. Well, that only seemed to make things worse. They people upstairs were running around, even moving furniture repeatedly until after 12:30 am both nights. I could even hear them with headphones on watching videos on my phone. Not acceptable. Embarcadero..was not informed about 3 day loud remodeling. Right next door at adjoining unit. They tore out decking and replaced it. And replaced windows. Involved loud hammering, drilling and sanding. Lots of loud steps right next to our bedroom as workers carried equipment. I called front desk, to no avail. Called customer service and was told I should have called before arriving. It was my responsibility. Not theirs to let me know about last minute repairs scheduled. It made our stay far from relaxing!!! It had on know before you go, on web site, that some units would be getting painted and new carpet, so expect MINIMAL NOISE AND SOME DUST....

Rude employees that park in our neighborhood and think they own it, I was mowing my grass this summer and guy that drives a charger started cursing me and saying I was disrespectful because he had parked next to my yard and I was mowing and then peeled out when leaving. Same guy was giving my wife a hard time because our son's school bus pulled up in front of him parked in the same spot mentioned above my son has autism and this guy had the audacity to approach the bus driver all while saying rude things under his breath park somewhere else buddy or provide parking for...
