I was a little hesitant coming to this location as I struggle to find sushi I can safely consume with celiac disease.
To start with, the staff were phenomenal with explaining which items were safe, which items could be exchanged to ensure the original item was safe to eat (real crab instead of imitation, GF soy sauce, removing certain items that can’t be substituted, or suggesting similar items that were safe but slightly differently). I did not end up sick after eating here, which I have at other locations after being reassured the items were okay for me to consume.
The All You Can Eat Sushi was phenomenal and more than worth its price. We saved approximately twenty dollars on the same meal we wanted to order, by paying for the AYCES. It was a struggle getting everything down, but I was able to try items I have not been able to before, because of the set pricing—as long as you eat it all!
Be mindful, AYCES is not a table thing, it is individually paid for by people at the table and cannot be shared unless the other person is also paying for AYCES, so keep that in mind. It didn’t bother us—again, we ended up paying significantly less (total bill was around $70 for two people, which included AYCES plus drinks and would have been closer to $110 with the items we ordered).
Next, the food is absolutely fantastic. I have never seen a sushi tower at any other location but I was excited to try it. They helped ensure it was GF, talked with me over what I would need to exchange, and when the food came out, I kid you not, it was the most delicious thing I have ever put in my mouth. I couldn’t shut up about how good it was (sorry to both tables behind and in front of me—but you should try it!!!).
I ordered several other things and everything was delicious, well prepared, and served in a...
Read moreSlow all you can eat service. Kind staff. Clean restaurant.
I would certainly come back if I didn’t do all you can eat. Very good quality and time spent creating each roll.
A lot of people order to go, didn’t see one person wait the entire time.
All you can eat has a great selection, however they prioritize other tables over you. This is rather shocking when you have restricted food amounts (for instance 2-4 people is 6 items total per order).
In our experience there were two other tables in the restaurant, 4 adults/2 infants at one and the other was 5 adults that turned into 7. Our table was 3 adults. Staff was 2 servers and 2 cooks, though it was noon so maybe some were on break.
We were told our order would be made after the other two tables, but when a couple came in 20 minutes into their prep, their order was also prioritized over ours. It was hard to see them get appetizers when we also ordered them, and the staff clearly avoided our table.
In addition to their soup, the couple got 2 rolls and a bunch of nigiri, they were in for about an hour, so for a normal order it may be totally worth it. We got our food 10 minutes before they left. We waited about 80 minutes to be served our 6 items. Our second round took about 30 minutes but we were the only ones left in...
Read moreWeird experience. The service here is always subpar but today was exceptionally bad. My boyfriend ordered food online but we decided to go in and eat at a table before the online order said it was ready. I’ve worked in plenty of restaurants and this is a common request from patrons that is usually easily accommodated, unless the restaurant is busy (there was one other table at this time). I also want to emphasize that we weren't coming in anywhere close to closing time. I asked the lady at the counter if that would be alright and she just stared at me for a minute before saying “It’s already bagged up, is that okay?” I said yes, that’s totally fine. She stared at me a little longer, acting like it was a huge inconvenience, and then led us to a table right by the entrance. We opened the food and it was barely warm, and the takeout portions were much smaller than the dine in portions. We ate but the lady kept staring us down very ostensibly with her hands on her hips. No acknowledgment of us whatsoever beyond that. We were totally polite the entire time, are clean and respectful patrons, and were met with thinly veiled hostility. So bizarre. The food is not good enough to make up for such...
